Basically the same as others, said he was responding to my application on indeed (that I did not make), offering a job that very much is too good to be true. Be skeptical of nice things.

I have blocked the number and email since.

Text said "Hi I'm Dr. Hallford. I received your response for job posted on indeed...." There was more but identical to some post above. I did not click the link and hopefully, no one falls for this scam.

Text was a google doc in response to a job I applied for on indeed. It struck me as spam because it was a text and he said do***ents would be mail. That is not usual for employers, as most things are done via email and docusign. So I decided to do some scammer research.

Your first****ignment would be purchasing commodity stuffs at Lowe's, Walmart or any stores around you and mailing them out through FedEx and few errands. I do that every month. I will make payment arrangement for you. I will get my accountant to send payment across to you. You would be receiving the Payment via USPS.

He has stated EVERYTHING EVERYONE is saying... My concern is that we are applying for jobs on INDEED and there are actually spammers??? They have our names, phone numbers, address, email addresses as well as past or current employers... HOW CAN THIS BE?

Says he needs a driver to drive his mom to doctor appointments and will pay $70/ hr and will send me a car to drive her around and pay my first week in advance. I contacted Workforce solutions in Texas and they told me it was a scam. If you receive anything like this, just ignore or block.

It was an indeed job saying to work personally for him, that I had to drive his mom around and he was going to provide a car and everything and he sent a fake check and now he’s trying to send another one

Posted a job listing on indeed claiming he needed an****istant to drive his mother to her appointments 2-3 days a week, 4-5 hours at a time. Claimed I would be sent a 2018 Mercedes S class for the job and sent a check for $650 weekly minimum. When confronted, never responded.

Of these checks, I would take my cut, and use the rest to do whatever shopping he had listed. I am very aware of check scams and this is SCREAMING check scam. I will play along for the check to arrive in the mail, and then I intend to call the name/business on the check.
