Phone rings... wait on phone for 2 to 3 secs for someone to respond... when Alex picks up.... says I made a pledge to support children in need, and wants to know if being the last day of the drive if I will come good on that pledge. tried to explain my own child had been sick and that I had bills that couldn't afford me to make good on any pledge. Of course he interrupted, hard-selling me to make good on the supposed pledge. When I stopped him finally, and annoyed as I was, I asked him how I was supposed to make a pledge with money I didn't have for an effort that I was currently experiencing myself in the first place... silence for 2 seconds and click. Unprofessional, demanding, arrogant in tone and demeanor. Tried to call back to complain. Auto message says call cannot be completed. Of course it's a scam! DO NOT CALL REGISTRY list is a joke! Make it a law that abusive numbers be held accountable by their owners (the phone companies and the end-users), and be prosecuted with heavy fines for an attempt to commit fraud, and at the very least harrass phone customers. Hit them back where it hurts the most... on the asses!
