Just got a very harassing email from this number threatening to take my job away even though the he was looking for my ex bf. I do not owe anyone money and do not appreciate this company threatening to take my job away. **** heads

Don't even bother with these people. They're the last resort and show it in there practices. They kept trying to get me to verbally commit to paying a reduced amount on an account. Even after telling them, "I Don't Have It". I've been out of work for some time, so I don't have the 'extra' they wanted. I'm too busy playing catch up right now. Tried to offer them what I could afford to pay per month and they turned it down. Very shady, extremely rude and just plain f-ing ******. How are you going to turn any money down? They're going to threaten you with lawsuits, but my account is so small they would end up spending more than the accounts worth to take me to court. When they first called, I told them I wasn't going to just fork over money to anybody that claimed to be an attorneys office. I wanted to verify the company! This ****** was like, "We're a multi-billion dollar law firm, blah blah blah". Okay...seeing how you said so, here's all my money. You can hear other reps reading of other clients card numbers in the background. REJECTS!

I am worried.  I owe the money they are calling me about but I don't want to send money and not have it paid on my bill.  I am worried that they will pursue and garnish my wages.  What should I do?  They do call and harass unmercifully so when I gave them a check over the phone they stopped but it is worrying me now that I have read some of these posts.  I don't want to be embarrassed at my job because of my debt.  HELP!!

Began calls on 06/03/2009 at 06:24 am. They are a collection agency that is breaking the law by calling hours before the legal time space per fair credit act. I will file a complaint regarding this tactic immediately.

got call this evening from 201-461-0023 woman asked for Angela.  I saidangela who?  She said Angela Mcelroy and I told her she was not here andI told her to take my number off her calling list and she hung up on me.

Received a call from BronsonMigliac, did not answer.  Left threatening message on my answering service.  Different #: (410) 863-4622 & 1-800-834-4066.  Looking for person w/same last name as me.  (Have had phone # for over 20 years).  They are very dumb, terrible detective work, & threaten to take action.  I am not that person.  And, if they call again, I will take action!!!!

I WAS ABLE TO CALL TRACE THE NUMBER 201-461-0023! IT MAYBE A NUMBER OF A PERSON IN A CHATROOM IN NJ! IT JUST CALLED ! BUT I HAD IT RECORDED ! OH I WONT BE ANSWERING YOUR CALLS AT ALL! I DO ALL LEGAL BUSINESS THRU THE MAIL NOT ON THE PHONE OR EMAILS ! F YRSLVES NOW! OR WHEN U GOT A MINTUE STUPID!

Woman called for my son who has not lived with me for over 10 years and this was a new phone number.  Said that it was a message intended for him only.  Message was on message machine.  Said to call back at 1-888-523-0856, ext 1116.   The call came from 201)461-0023.  This was from Bronson & Migliaco.  Glad I found this site if they call back I can match their calls.  It is also legal to tape phone calls in Texas.  The other half doesn't have to know it.

I recieved the same call from a woman and I hung up on her because she was being condescending and rude. She called back and left a message saying she works at the law office mentioned above and that this matter will not just go away and that the phone calls will not stop. I checked my credit report a minute ago and there were no outstanding balances from the credit card company that she told me this matter was with, and the balance was HUGE, and I know I have never had a credit card with a limit over $1,000.

A African American sounding woman called from this phone number today looking for my Grandmother who is in a nursing home dying of cancer!  When asked how she received the phone number (especially since I have a different last name) she said she was given in by a lawyer. When explained that we are not POA for my grandmother, she was extremely demanding of who was the POA and how to contact them.  She was told to look at the list of contacts her lawyers gave her and to stop harassing us.

A women claiming to be Mrs. Jones called stateing my mother was to call the office immediately.  I asked how she got my number becaue it is under my bf name and never has had mine,  she said that my mom but it on her application and That I should call her and tell that she needs to call this number because if she don't it would not be good.  Her property is involved.Caller ID: 201-461-0023Caller Bronson MigliacWho are these people and how are they getting numbers???

A Mrs. Thorpe from Bronson and Migliaccio called looking for my father, states he is to call back at 888-523-0856 ext 1127 regarding a undisclosed matter for my father. I called back and left a message with no response as  yet. Thank goodness my mom found this site. Thank you for your comments, I know now exactly what to expect.

A woman with a spanish accept just called and asked for a family member that does not live here. She said she was from a law firm. I advised her that she does not live here and is jail. She told me I was lieing and that I was her. I gave her that jail website and directed her on to the search page, so she can verify the girl is in jail.

I HAVE GOTTEN A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER AND ANSWERED THEN THEY ASK MAY I SPEAK TO SO AND SO. THEY DO NOT LIVE HERE. THEY SAY SHE IS YOUR FRIEND AND GIVEN ME THIS NUMBER THIS IS CRAZY.

I received a message from a Julian Carter calling from the law office of Bronson Migliac (yeah right) with an important matter for me - he gave my marriage and maiden name in the message.  He forgot to leave a callback number but did tell me that it was a very important matter...I used caller id to call back [201-461-0023].  When I called back, I asked what the matter of importance was and he said that he was calling for my father/brother (both have the same name).  I asked him how he got my name because I obviously use my marriage name & my father/brother have a different last name than me.  His response was "family listings".  I asked why he was trying to contact one of my family members and he said that "federal law prohibits him from disclosing that information to me -- for my family's rights".  So, my response was "for my family's rights - I can't give you any information on them".  He again mentioned that he was calling from a LAW OFFICE & I told him that I didn't believe that either.  (I looked this up before I called him back.)  He became defensive and said that it was a federal matter and I told him that if it was a federal matter he'd know how to get in touch with the right person.  I told him that he was harassing me for information that I would definitely not be giving him and that I never wanted to be called again.

Male caller asking for a name that sounded close to mine.  Could not understand law firm name until I read it on this site.  Gave call back number of 888-523-0856, extension 1136.  I don't owe anyone so do not intend to call back.

He said that I owed a certain amount of money and that it was turned over for collection but would not give me the name of the company that I was supposed to owe, or precise information about me. He said that if I had checked my credit reports, I would have known. I ran a check of the 3 credit reporting agencies and my credit is excellent.

He agreed to remove my number from his file. By the way, I am not the person he was looking for, but I do list my number with just my last name & first initial in the phone book! If your name is even close to a non-payer they will call you!
