scammer... she got ****ed when i asked for information to call her back with my lawyer.. spoke to my lawyer and he said it was a scammer trying to get information and i just this call less than an hour ago went to this website to check up on it.. and all of you guys were very helpful thank you.

Female lady, indian/asian/spanish accent, calling about IRS papers that you were supposed to receive in the mail. She then tells you the income that you make is not true and that she has a warrant for your case. She will say do you want the warrant's ID or do you want me to report you to the police. Bunch of B.S. Scammers! Watch out peoples!

definitely a scam, just got the call on my cell phone instead of the house phone from an indian or Pakistani woman claiming to be recording the call and having homeland security listen to it. said I owed 20grand to the irs over the past couple of years and gave me what looks to be a fake case number. said they sent documentation to my house and never did. very much agree with Brian's comment. sounded like a boiler room, she had no real answers when I started pressuring her and did not ask me for money or SSN. said she was sending cops to arrest me within 72 hours, so I said fine and hung up. ridiculously annoying thing to have to deal with

Same detail as below ,,,, woman named sarah Jason called from IRS and that is warrant that something issued under my name and they sent me mail and i didn't respond and she has my right name and my right address and i told her that i don't have paper to work in the usa how come someone do something under my name and i didn't pay the tax then she hung up

Similar details as others below. Woman named Sarah claimed to be with the IRS, even had Washington DC address. Sounded like a boiler room call center. Claimed they had sent me written notification of my audit results and I had not responded. Had my current address. When I asked questions she had only canned answers. Threatened to sent my arrest warrant to the local police if I did not comply. Odd thing is she did not ask me to SSN or money. Perhaps I did not let it get that far before I hung up.

IRS warrant scam from this number

Same thing. Sandra Collins called me threatening with a warrant for my arrest. She had alot of personal info. on me, but did not ask for any $. Just said that I would be arrested and detained for 72 hours then deported??? Not quite certain where she's sending me bc I am a US citizen. Turns out this scam is either from India or Pakistan. She has a slightly british accent with an Indian undertone. The little witch did get me for a a little while, but know this: 1. the IRS will always identify themselves by their name and their ID #. 2. they will never call and ask for your personal info. (SSN, CC#, etc). 3. they will always send you written notice.

These people called me today. They told me that there is a warrant for my arrest in 1 hour and that I owe 2,500 dollars. The lady was called Sandra. They said they were located in 1111 cons***ution avenue NW 3rd floor, Washington DC. They told me that I need to go to the local precinct and hand myself in and they will fax over the the information over to the precinct to arrest. There was a guy called Brian Johnson with an Indian accent which looks like the man guy. If you guys intend on calling them back make sure you record them and get as much information as possible to arrest these ****** ***kers.

A girl just called me and she called me yesterday also to tell me that I should declare about my transfers that i made to my family in Jordan in the IRS form because they will arrest me within 48 hours. I laughed bc i paid taxes as i have already master degree in accounting plus two courses in the H&R BLOCK, I have never seen or heard about that since i can provide a correct information about my salary. I said to her fy bit... , she said you don't care, I repeated my words to her again to understand. Yaer

Just got a call from this number 10 min back , a guy asked for my wife and when I said she is not around and if I can take a note for her he said he is from the IRS , so I asked him while laughing are u from the IRS , seriously he said yes , the idiot did not realize that I was making fun of him , LOL , anyway this is a scam , do not ever send money or provide your Social Security number ever !!

A female called me 2 hours back and identified her self from IRS and same story as AAA said below. Seems like when you ask a question they are reading some kind of script with indian accent. Same like when you call any banks customer service and your call is routed to someone overseas somewhere in india. Anyway,, just be care full and don't give any of your info. Hope Authorities track them faster.

Got a call saying my address had a warrant from the IRS and we are in trouble. Told the lady to hold on while i went inside and she hung up. Had an indian accent and was total BS. Called the number back and a guy on the other line said he had been getting calls all day about the same thing.

They call and leave you a message that they are from the IRS and have a warrant for you. They are NOT IRS so do not give out any information. They try to find a reason for the warrant, and it seems they target people with a non US origin they said because of international transaction. Simple I told them I have never been to the US and I am outside the country, they were surprised and said will check your file and call you back. Take care from the SCAMMMMM

I received a call from them today, claiming that they are IRS officers. They gave me a ticket number and told me that they police is going to arrest me within few hours, that I am going to jail for 3 years and then they will send me back home. After over half an hour of talking and transfering me from someone to another, they decided to adjust my case if I send within 30 minutes over 1000 dollars via online transfer .. They sounds first real, even though they have a heavy indian accent, but then if you keep ask them about some details, it will be clear that they are totally ignorant. Please report them

these mother ***ers call you on your phone n leave you a message that they are from the IRS and have a warrant for you, when i called them back it was a magik jack number, then she c****ed her vcm l set up n put her name ,,,they are not for real they are scam artist,,, be safe out there

I recieved a call from this number. They caim to be the IRS, claimed that I owe back taxes and if I fail to pay within a 30 minuite time frame they would submit my "case" to the local authorites and have me arrested. After doing a bit of research I found this is an ongoing scam.
