I just got called by that #. It's getting that I don't pick up any calls now if I don't know the #, if it's important they can leave a message and I'll call back, obviously it's not important....they never leave a message. It's so sad how our world is changing and we can't trust anyone....they say it's for charity but is it? I work too hard for my money to give it away so everyone get's a no, I can't afford it financially and I won't play the game.

Just called me , glad I didn't answer.Have never been called by this particular one before , but whenever any charity calls and I say no they insist and as much as I wish I could donate ... I can't afford it ! Wonder if they get a commission with how much they try to talk you into it..

Got this call this morning from this number.. I registered on the Canadian Do Not Call list, but that does not seem to deter them.

i just got a call from there, he asked for 'Mr. MyLastName' and there is no Mr. here. He would not give his name or where he was calling from or what it was regarding. Sounded like a sloppy old man.

Got a call from {204}-480-4503 this morning {Oct. 1st. The man on the phone said he was from the Can. council for the blind, and they were collecting for,, etc, etc, when I told him I was sorry, but, I already donate to 4 0r 5 charities, a couple in my own area, and that I wasn't interested in donating to his cause, he just kept on with his "speal", and didn't even appear to hear what I was saying ! ....finally I said "I am sorry Sir, but I am not interested", and when he still kept on talking as if not hearing, I hung up the phone. It is bad enough that we get these calls at all, but when they don't respect your decision, it BUGS me to bits .. Where is the "class?"& the respect for oUR rights?

When I called the # back I got a recording saying they were the Canadian Council for the Blind. Callers were directed to "customer service" at 1-800-525-9418 9am-9pm EST.
