I get the call too, it was a political ad/poll for Ronny Dixon.  I don't know how these polls use disconnected numbers, but I am going to try and find a number for his campaign committee and register a complaint.

They called again.  It's a recording that is a political poll.

This number called me and I actually paid $10 to do a search of who it was.  It's a landline and is registered to a Cathleen Hood in Livingston, AL.  When I tried to call the number myself, it came up as disconnected.  However, when whoever it was from this number called me and I answered, they hung up.  I never got a recording but will assume as Don mentioned above that it is a political call.  It has happened to me before when I haven't answered a number recently and called back and it said it was disconnected.  Then when that same number called again (not this number in question, 2056524565 but a different one) and I answered it this time, it was an automated political poll.  I just wish since my number is on the Do Not Call registry, that this type of thing wouldn't happen and cause me to waste $10 to figure out who in the heck it is!

this number has called a few times the past few days.  i haven't answered it because i didn't recognize the number.  they don't leave a message.  i tried calling back, but a recording says the number has been disconnected.  strange.
