I have received several calls from people with indian accents and I finally called the FBI. They told me to get on their website and file a complaint. Make sure you put as much info as you can and give them the numbers that call you. They have had alot of calls about these scams and they are working on finding the people doing the calls, If everyone fills out a complaint we might just get the little SOB's to stop.

I also recieved a call from Officer Marcus Black looking for my mother in regards to a legal complaint that was registered against her name. He stated that if she did not contact him immediately that they were going to assume that she is running from the law and that she would face legal consequences or even be arrested. Prior to me recieving the call to my cell phone, my mother had recieved a call from Officer Black. Luckily my mom called me first and I was able to convince her not to send any money, but she was freaking out and almost hysterical about being arrested. I hope they catch these people, it is not right what they are doing.

I recieved a VM on my cell phone from an Officer Marcus Black trying to contact my mother in regards to a legal complaint that was registered in her name. He stated that he had her SSN and all of her personal info in regard to the complaint filed against her. He also said that if she did not call him back she would face unwanted legal consequences.

This guy named Marcus Black called me and left a msg on my VM, stating he is an officer, calling regarding a legal complaint filed against me, and to please call him immediately, before investigators come to my door step. What is that all about? Any advice on what to do? Greatly appreciate it...

This so called Officer Marcus Black called my friends in Missouri asking for my husband. Said that if he didn't hear back from him then they would consider my husband running from the law and would hunt him down and prosecute him. Seeing as my husband not only works for the Federal Government but as well as the State we live in I'm sure it wouldn't be hard to find him if there were really a warrant for his arrest. Please be aware that these people are scammers and will use anything to get to you, including friends and family members.

I received a call from an Officer Marcus Black with a very thick indian accent. He told me he represented the Magnuson Lowell law firm and that I owed over a thousand dollars but would not tell me why. Well he's messing with the wrong person. I called the law firm and let them know that this fraudulent company was trying to pass themself off as a representative of them. The law firm took all the information I had on them and now is investigating the fraud company. I called the Richmond police dept and the attorney general in Washington state. I traced the number back to Pac west telecomm phone company and reported the number to them as a company trying to scam people out of money. They also called me at work and I contacted the legal dept at my job. ( I work at a major hospital with an awesome legal department) and let them know the scam and that they were harassing me at work. Don't let it drop. Call the attorney general and let them know. Keep track of the phone calls because once you tell them to stop they have to. Verizon is helping me file a harassment suit against them right now.

Through threat of lawsuit for internet violations, he made me write a letter to pay the firm U S Fast Cash or will see me in court or have me arrested. He continues to call me early in the morning at home and work. A women called us inquirying about a call she got from an Officer Black, indentifying himself as working for Hudson Law Group under the law firm of Magnuson Lowell. He does not in any way work for Magnuson Lowell. This women was smart enough to contact the law firm directly, we advised her it must be a scam. Do not give these people any money until they provide written proof that you owe any debt. They will make all sorts of threats, but before you pay anything get written proof.

I have received many calls from 3 middle eastern and heavily accented men. The first one goes by Marcus Black, the 2nd goes by Regeant Adams, & the 3rd ones goes by Officer Williams. The first give-away is their names, heavy accented middle eastern men with such names as their scam is. Then why can't they produce paperwork when asked about the loan. What I hate about this is, someone has all my personal information and I have no idea who they are. But I also know they will get theirs' eventually. I wonder what their parents would think of their children growing up and being lazy, no good scam artist as they think they are. I knew just what they were from the very first call even though they call my home, work or cell phone constantly. I was told by the one man that I was the first intelligent bloody american who did not send him money. But as you can see, there are many of us bloody americans.

Would anyone be interested in shutting down their call center on a certain date? We would all have to band together and call at the same time and even send faxes at the same time during a certain date. All it would take is everybody agreeing to "settle" their 'debts' that are 'owed'. We could all set a time and date to call/and fax the numbers we get to shut down this horrible scam...even if just for a few hours, it would be worth it!!! I'm sure they're paying for a certain amount of incoming/outgoing calls through their VOIP provider, which would more than likely include faxes. Even if y'all can get numbers for callbacks, FLOOD their VOIP provider until it shuts down! I recently sent 2000 faxes to a fax number they gave me and they called me and told me to please stop because ink is expensive. This whole thing is a scam and relies on VOIP technology to work...if we can flood the crap out of them, I guarantee we'll all get P.O.'d calls from them later in the day, which of course would make each and every one of us feel better!!!!Take their calls, keep them on the line, ask for physical addresses and fax numbers to send payments to, just keep them guessing!!!! Let's see how unbelievably stupid they get!**Just remember, if you are skeptical, Federal guidelines stipulate that a creditor MUST make every attempt to accept any and all payments, regardless of whether the payment is made in person, over the phone, through the mail, or through fax. Therefore, if a creditor REFUSES to take payment in ANY of these methods, the debt then becomes null and void!!! We all have rights, and this in particular proves the reasoning for these rights. TRY to get these people to settle with a payment through the mail...it won't happen...TRY to get these people to settle with a payment in person...it won't happen!!!!If you think that somebody is trying to get money from you that isn't really owed, take the simplest route and ask to send payment through mail. Of course, many creditors will want to get payment from you in the easiest and quickest way possible, a LEGITIMATE creditor will NEVER fail to give a payment address to send any payment. The people with whom we are speaking will not give payment address or any other form of payment method other than credit/debit card. Call them on this error, and I guarantee you will get either a rude disconnection or an address that is out of the country.Don't ever give any creditors the chance to get an upper hand on you. You ALWAYS have the upper hand, as long as you are willing to LEGALLY pay your debt. Just make sure that you are in control of the transaction, whatever that transaction may be.

They called my brother and wanted my number. I have no idea how they got his number. He even lives in a different country. They had very broken English and they did not answer the phone when I phoned them back. I think that they have all my personal information, but not my phone number.

These people will not stop calling me and calling me at work. This morning they left a message at my work and gave my work the last four digits of my social security number!!! How do I get them to stop calling and find out how they know my social security number.I spoke to them once when they called and cannot understand them, I apologized and asked to please speak to someone who spoke better English.

I received a call from some jerk that said his name was Max Williams and he was an investigator from Seatle Washington and that I had borrowed 450.00 from some cash place and I need to settle it by paying him 489.00. He tried to say the money was deposit in my bank back in 2010. I told him according to my bank nothing had ever been deposit to my bank account from any pay-day loans. When I aske him the name of his company he didn't want to tell me thne he rattled off some name and when I asked him for his address he gave me his phone number and when I asked him again he raised his voice and said why do you need to know, hold on so I held on until an operator came in and said if you need to make a call please hang up. He never came back to the phone.

It is a scam, I got a call from the same number from an "Officer Garcia" who was threatening fraud charges and was going to "forward charges to my local law office" This same idiot called my job, and didn't know he was talking to a retired police officer, who pumped him for information about what exactly he was an officer of. Of course he couldn't answer. He's probably calling from a call center in India, because he has called me from NY, WASH, and CHICAGO numbers. Ignore this jerk.
