Hey everyone,My name is Justin and I work in the Engineering Dept for T-Mobile. After being forwarded this string of problems on this number, I filed a trouble ticket with our Tier II group. Here is what the issue was and the current status:The issue was that there were new overflow SMS servers put in the network and not loaded properly. They were fixed on October 28th, so this should have been solved and no more messages should show up on bills after that date. Customers may see the October bill and call in, and the charges should be REVERSED for them by Cust Care. Care should have been made aware of this as of 11/25/08 and should now see in the system to refund the charges for those text messages. If any of you previously attempted to call Customer Care before 11/25 and they did not refund the charges, please call back and ask for them to reverse them now. Please accept my apology on behalf of T-Mobile for the oversight, and I hope we can continue to provide great service to all of our customers. Thanks,Justin

i am billed for 29 text messages i never received from oct 7, 2008 thru oct 28 2008 for $5.80. this is bs. remember the utility model to invent charges for the customers. some complain and some pay. utility wins.
(206) 313-0023
Yes, I got bill total about $14 more than usual from T-mobile because of the text message from this no. My both of 2 lines got this. Even both phones has never received text messages on their history. I'm claiming to T-mobile now. They should refund to me. I'm from Japan. I've never have this trouble in Japan! It's unbelievable!!!

Demand your money back. T-mobile is BS for pretending they don't know about this issue. I just had this issue resolved (11/7) after talking to 3 reps and their managers. It's a screw up on their part and they told me to either block all text messages, or purchase a texting plan! i was like.. WHAT! on top of that, they wouldn't remove the charges! that's so BS since they know about the issue. After speaking to the 3rd manager, she finally admitted to know about this issue and said.. Oh, hehe, i just learned of this issue.. what a lie.

My bill shows 31 text charges from this phone number at times and dates I never received text messages. Each one is a 20 cent charge.
(206) 313-0023
I received messages from 206-313-0023 and 405-455-0007. Called my phone carrier and they can't find out where this calls come from. this is so odd, because I don't give out my Phone#

T-mobile gave me a credit for 50 text messages, and I have not received any more since my complaint. I saw on one website that the message charges were connected with calling voice mail. I then looked at my bill and more than 30 out of the 52 test message charges were at the same exact time that I dialed my voice mail. It looks like the glitch is charging a text for accessing voice mail. I hope it is fixed. I ended up blocking all messages and hopefully in a month or so, it will be fixed. All I can say for T-mobile customer service is that it f%@$(ng ****s ****hole. I have found that with all providers of cell service, because they know our hands are tied. They kept telling me sorry that "I believe the texts are not mine" or "that I feel I did not receive the messages". Lastly - my mom who is 64 and has blocked sms because she does not even know how to open or send one had 7 charges on her phone. Good luck to all!

I had the exact same experience as KB.

I am not a text message user, at least not in general. The most text messages I have ever used - sent and received is 24 in the past 12 months. So far, in October, I have charges for 52 text messages. I have received approximately 8 messges and sent 4, as they are still on my phone. T-mobile told me that all 52 texts are valid and they show that I received them or sent them from my phone. My only options they said are to completely block ALL messages, call the people sending me messages and tell them to stop, or purchase their message package. I do not want to block ALL messages, because I use messaging on rare urgent occasions. I can't "call" the people because I am not RECEIVING the message on my phone, and my bill only states T-mobile routing numbers - 206-313-0023 or 404-455-0007 (not the origin of the message). I am not paying $4.95 for texting when my per usage fee has never been more than $2.60. When I called they basically said I was delusional and that it is impossible to be charged for a text that was not received or sent from my phone. I am filing with the BBB and contacting the Washington State Attorney Generals office. I smell class action on this one. It seemd to be affecting the Seattle area specifically beginning in October 2008. Oh - and I should contact that KING-5 guy "JESSE".

I have received 40+ messages from both of the numbers mentioned here. We have 3 phones on our T-Mobile plan and all three phones are getting these texts. They show up on the bill but not on the phone. Ours started on 10/6 and continued up till 6pm today. We've made 7 calls to T-Mobile and eventually we were able to talk to someone that cared but like the other posters, they say that there is nothing that they can do. It seems odd that it is only T-Mobile customers or are there some of you out there that have a different provider?
(206) 313-0023
We have charges on our T-Mobile bill too. Are only some providers' phones vunerable to this number?
(206) 313-0023
i think it might be from skype or international calls
(206) 313-0023
I have had aprox 10 calls from this number per day since 10/08 and per t-mobile they know nothing about this. No message as come through on my phone yet I am being billed for the messages. I have spoken to t-mobile mutiple times today and they have put a block on text messaging on my phone however they still keep coming through both the 206-313-0023 number and a 404 number. So per t-mobile the only other thing to do is change phone numbers. They stated there is nothing else they can do.
(206) 313-0023

(206) 313-0023
I keep getting text messages from this number, but when I call it rings and then goes to a busy signal!
(206) 313-0023
Got seven text charges on my phone from this number October 9 - 13th. Got a refund and I also had all text messages blocked. T-Mobile put in a ticket for this number.
(206) 313-0023
I just got off the phone with TMobile about this very thing. Weird! We also have an Atlanta no. 404-455-0007 on our bill. I thought someone was texting my kids from there and was about to confront them........this sounds like a SPAM thing through text, although you don't see the text on the phone, just the bill. If you don't have unlimited texting, obviously this is eating into your limits. Call Tmobile and report it. They are aware of the issue. Any other nos. please report them too!
(206) 313-0023
I had seven of these on my bill from T-Mobile. I called and they took the charges off my bill, they also put a ticket in for it. My texts messages were from 10/9/08, 10/10/08, 10/11/08 and 10/13/08. T-Moblie will block text messages.
(206) 313-0023
Text charges appear on bill - but none to phone. Are you able to see/read these messages? Anyone?
(206) 313-0023

(206) 313-0023
Received multiple text messages to multiple T-Mobile phones under my account between 08 Oct thru 12 Oct. Called T-Mobile to block all text messages. Some correlation between dialing T-Mobile voice mail # and when text message received (30% were within one minute of dialing voice mail). Of course, T-Mobile doesn't know anything
(206) 313-0023
This number sends text messages.
