I got a call from this number this morning telling me that I owned IRS unpaid tax while I have a clean record. He threaten me that I have to go to his IRS local office to pay this in the next 1 hour or I will be arrested by the policy. I am so glad to read these comments. THIS IS A SCAM

when they called with this obvious scam, I said, Son, I am dissapoint ... and the guy said Sir I am not your son have your money western union to us in 1 hour or the police will pick you up at your job, I once again said SON I AM DISSAPOINTED... the guy replied that he was not my son again so I asked him, how do you know I wasn't bumping uglies with your momma in the streets of BOmbay a few years back, for all you know I am yo' daddy... LOL he hung up, hopefully they don't call again

July 1st 2014 had a man claiming to be John Smith with the prime investigation unit of the IRS call and leave a message from this number. He said I am the primary suspect in a case being filed right now with the IRS.......................... Whatever!! ( Glad I found this page, I was a little worred)

7/1/2014 Same exact thing as Judith explained. Got 2 cell phone calls. Ist one no message. 2nd one same exat thing as Judith below. I won't even call back. The IRS has no case against me to begin with so I knew it was a farse! Secondly, why would someone with such a heavy accent be employed by the IRS? Wayyy too fishy! Do not ever call back anyone who instills fear in a voice mail. Call the main number for the Credit Card Company or the IRS or whomever. Not the number they called from. EVER!

Yes, today June 30th 2014, I received a call from a person who claimed their name was Anne Person and a CI Officer saying they were calling about a case against me from the IRS. I freaked out and began asking many questions, and was immediately transferred to another person saying their name was Jack Cooper. This person had a heavy Indian Accent and spoke very fast to the point I could barely understand him. Because I kept interrupting him with questions he said that if I kept interrupting him and not let him explain what their case was about or if I hang up or do not finish the call and let him finish within 30 minutes they would have a warrant for my arrest. He said it was about a case of Fraud from a filing between 2008-2013 and came from an Affidavit from The Court house. I knew by then this must be harassment. I asked for his supervisor and said I do not believe that this is not some joke or something and wanted their number to call back and his supervisor’s name. I was told to call 206 414-1194 and ask for Mike Johnson. I hung up and called back after putting the phone number through Google and finding this website. I then called the phone number back and got what appeared to be an unprofessional voice message by a black guy. If it were the IRS, I would have expected a ROBO phone service. I left a message telling them I already filed a complaint & the police are on their way and they had better stop doing this to people or they will be ones arrested. I then called the police and they arrived. They took down all my information, surprised that I wrote everything down. They told me to contact the Attorney General’s Office and put in a complaint. BTW, these criminals knew my name, phone number, address, and email. Anyone else out there been trying to apply for a free fax number like maybe off of “FaxBetter”, or purchased anything off eBay lately like I have? We need to figure out where these people are getting their information to call us in the 1st place? I had got a free fax number recently form FaxBetter, and oddly enough today someone from an unknown number faxed me a “Hi!!”

I also just got a call from this guy, he did identify himself as the IRS agent and also asked me to have my lawyer call him, he called me three times within about 30 seconds left a voicemail threatening that I needed to contact him or he would file charges against me, I did call back but I just got voicemail so far I have far nothing else - but it looks like it's going on with other people on this page so I'm glad I checked it out and looked it up, this page was a huge resource!

A called and wanted to speak with the manager stating they were calling from IRS. Told them the manager was not here, he wanted more information on the managers so I put him on hold. He called back and I told him AGAIN to call back another time. I was going to hang up and he said to wait and change his conversation. He said he was going t F**K me with his big big Dic*. I finally Told him to go to hell and hung up on him. WATCH OUT for this number.... bunch of Scammmmm.

They called me threatening me saying they were the IRS and I owed money in for returns from 2009 till now.... I never filed in 2009 BC I was pregnant and didn't worl... I started screaming at him and was told the sherrifs would be at my house blah blah....

WARNING SCAM ALERT!! Just received phone calls from Seattle Washington and Out of Area 206-414-1194 telling me they were the IRS and coming to take me to jail within 180 days. Said I had a warrant out for my arrest and I had frauded the IRS out of $683.59 and if I didn't send this money via money gram that the police would be here to pick me up. Foreign speaking men whom stated they were "IRS Agents" All of the so called agents were claiming that there is a warrent issued out for my arrest because of tax fraud. They said they would be coming for me in 180 days. I have no tax issues because I do not work. They are based out of Seattle, Wa. NOT Washington DC like they claimed. I asked for their supervisors name and they said no one was above them and that the President who lives in Washington DC is their boss. WHEN I told them I knew this was a fraud and that my brother a deputy police officer and my cousin was was sheriff, and that my husband was a state police and that I would be giving them their number along with the Attorney Generals Office and I couldn't wait to meet them after they were arrested for fraud/scam and money laundering, they got very verbally violent and s****ed threatening me, also told me that no lawyer could defend me. Finally I told them they were full of it and to send their FBI agents on to get me because I'd have free food, a bed to sleep in and free medical care that really p'd them off they got mad and called me an****hole and ***g up on me lol!! SO BEWARE!! Please tell all your elderly folks not to even answer those calls because I'm sure they have scammed many people and some one elderly it would scare to ***** they way they talk to you!!

They stated they were the IRS and if I did not wish to receive a bench warrant for tax evasion I needed to call them back in one hour. They freely gave their phone number...

I was told he was a cia officer for the IRS and asked for me or my attorney to call him back. That is all he said. That I could understand.

Received a call from this number and they started telling me that the IRS is going after me and that they could help me, Then he wanted me to get money out of the bank and get bonds to sent to him. Asked him to ID himself and kept right on repeating over and over again until I told him I was calling the cops and the IRS on this number.

I keep calling them back to harass them. give them a taste of their own medicine.

called me 6 times in one minute, leaving messages...same as everyone else. They are from the "IRS". I actually answered it the first time not thinking and once I heard what they were talking about, I said I was going to call the cops on them and issue a warrant on them. Then they kept calling. I have issued a complaint to IRS before with a different number but same concept

they did the same as Meagan, but were much more aggressive with threats.

I received a call and they claimed they were from the IRS and I owed them money. I was told if I hung up to call a lawyer without paying them, then they would have a warrant issued for my arrest within the hour. My husband and brother are both officers, so I hung up and called them. They said this is a huge scam and I needed to contact the IRS. The IRS also informed me they had no claims out against me. Do NOT give this guy your money.

It is a scam it is not the IRS per the police station that I called they are on top of the company they are not IRS people scam
