Selling my car and got a text from this scammer saying they wanted to buy my car today! They asked for my location, and name. They wanted a orginal window sticker, which I didn't have, and for me to go to a website to get all the car's details. detailedcarreveiw.com. Insisted that I get this information through the website so they would feel that they were making a "safe" purchase. This is a common scam, and obviously a number that tries the scam a lot.

Asking me about an ad I posted for my car. Does not remember where they saw the ad and forgot all the information from the ad. Seems very suspicious. I looked up the number and see other saying it’s a scam so I blocked them

Craigslist car spammer

I had the same experience, insisting on going to a particular website for a WD sticker. When I told them my car was too old on the websites I visited, they asked why I didn't go to their suggested website. I informed them that when they included the website address in their messaging, Google voice sent the whole conversation to spam, which alerted me that there was so****ing fishy about that site. They did respond to try and push me to their site more, but after reading the conversation, it aligns with your observations. Besides in which, their grammar could really use some improvement.

I have my Nissan leaf listed on craigslist in Hawaii, got a call from this number or rather a text, after a bunch of back-and-forth about coming to see it in some days they asked for the WD sticker. Calling the number they’re texting from which is at 206 area code you get the mailbox is full. When I asked for them to call me they said they were at work and then they didn’t reply when they’d be off.

I put ad on Craigslist to sell truck and this person used the name Axel and wanted me to go to a website called summarizedautofacts.com to get a WD sticker for the vehicle I was selling. Did NOT do this. He/She wanted info that wasn't necessary nor related to sale by sounding interested while being a nuisance. VERY pushy about getting on the website which sounded the warning bells for sure. Actually called the number using *67 and while it rang, it also came up that the mailbox was full.....
