Absolute scammer, called me twice and some pajeet wanted my log in info to cancel a $800 charge. If they say you have some random charge, hang up and just go check your account yourself. Dont waste time with these showerless losers. By Anonymous November 30th, 2024 7:31pm

Claimed fraud on my account and wanted my username and password to cancel them.

Told me there was an attempt to withdraw $1000 via zelle.

They wanted me to txt my username and password to them to suspended my account. Makes no sense they would never.

Claimed someone recently opened a Home Depot credit card in my name. I also received a text message alert about this that contained a su****ious link to crs.registermycc dot com. Checked the Home Depot website and there was no such credit card. Presumably a phishing operation. AT&T needs to put a stop to this.

USAA number but likely s****ed. There's no way the bank would be calling me twice at 10p hours after their business day ended.

Caller claimed my card was compromised and being used in Miami, FL. He told me to write down this cancellation code : DIS0089000. Then proceeded to ask me if I wanted to cancel my current card and have a new one sent tomorrow. When he asked me to verify the 16 digit number for the card I wanted cancel-he was made! I knew the scam was real and I told him USAA would never ask for that info.

There was a weird buzzing sound in the background. He asked if I recently opened a Citi Diamond Preferred credit card, if I applied from a computer or mobile device and if I applied from home or the vicinity of my home. Then said “Thank you, we’ll be in touch with a decision within a few days” and hung up. I called Citi fraud dept and it was in fact a scammer.

This number is no longer a spam number. It belongs to Moxie Pest Control. I am a customer of theirs. They were verifying my appointment.
