I attended the Taboo Sex Show in Regina. Dan Anderson from Imperial Vaction Travel Services on behalf of Carnival Cruise Lines called me on my cell about an hour ago to tell me I had won a cruise. I'm wise to this type of scam, so I didn't put much worth into it but thought I should hear him out just in case. I asked him to call me back at a different number in about an hour so I could catch all the details (fuzzy on the cell phone). He called back about 2 minutes ago (much to my surprise)and informed me of the details (blah blah blah) but essentially that I would have to pay a convenience fee of $299 per person. When I asked if I would have to pay my own airfair to get to the departure point - Florida - he said "we help you out with that". Yeah right. So I politely told him I was not interested and to please remove me from any calling lists. He said they don't have a list, just an entry form. He said they would "pass it on". I took that to mean they'd toss it (hopefully), said thanks and hung up. Thanks to all who posted - you have confirmed my suspisions. The old adage holds up - if something is too good to be true, it probably is. Cheers!

Got the call from this number, said I won at the sex show in Regina. My first scam, so I didn't recognize it.Said I'd have to use my dad's permission for our co-signed Credit card, "Bruce Clark" said that's okay, he'll call back tomorrow (if his manager says it's okay) because "you sound like a pretty cool chick."Called my dad and he said that if you really want to, just check it out with a travel agent first. Also, some girls I went to the show with got calls too. AND, all these Regina folks seem to be getting the calls about the same time, according to when they posted on here.

Same thing happened here... entered a draw at the sex show in regina and am getting calls... loooovely!
(212) 736-6919
Was at the Regina sex show.. entered into the draw as well.. both recieved calls withini seconds of each other. one word. SCAM

Just received a call from "Lisa" after entering a draw at the Regina Taboo Show on April 20th. Same thing, $299 and I must pay RIGHT NOW to receive my tickets. I'm a student, so I don't have that kind of scratch. The woman was very polite and very friendly (joked around a bit) so I didn't receive any of the rude one's but there's still no way that I can justify throwing away $300 for something that MIGHT be a scam.Interesting thing is that my buddy entered the 'contest' as well, but didn't get the call. I told her I didn't have my credit card on me, and when she calls back, I simply won't have the money.

They were also at the Toronto Home Show last week and are calling people who filled out the form to win a free Vacation there as well.
(212) 736-6919
My GF and her sister and friend signed up for the draw at a flea market kiosk. They "ALL" won and recieved the call sayign they pay 80% you must pay $299 by C.C now to book it, and in 2 weeks your package will arrive. Discounted yes, she did fill out for the draw, and they DID have our persoanl info ie address and so on. "8 days/7 nights in Orlando and Cruise in bahamas, staying in Nassau." 2 free tickets to Universial Studios, the WHOLE spiel about all the thigns that come with it, free car rental and so on. Checked out the website imperialcruise w/e .com It's funny i called them and asked about it and they said that's normal procedure for them to call and get deposit first and so-on. It DOES sound too good to be true. I dunno if it is a scam why aren;t they being investigated or sued or w/e. Hope it is a scam cuz we choose not to go with it. But if it wasn;t DARN , it would of been nice lol

Went to the Abbotsford Taboo Sex Show, signed up for a "FREE" trip, and just got a call from Brian at www.imperialcruisevacations.com, indicating we had been selected. I let him know that I wasn't interested and I didn't realize it was a discount trip. He went on to say that they will pay 90%, etc. Was shocked when I said I still wasn't interested. I've heard of these type of things before, and don't have the time to waste on them.

These are NOT cold calling telemarketers. The only reason I got called is because I registered at the Horse Show in Toronto. Bottom line. Don't register for a discounted trip and give all your personal information on a registration form if you do not want to be called. People should realize that nothing in the world is free. It's a highly discounted trip.

I went to a wedding show this week-end and since then that number keeps calling my cell. They called me twice yesterday and again today. They never leave messages and when you pick up, they hang up on you if you answer in French. I really hope that they stop calling.
(212) 736-6919
Got the same call today for my husband- TWICE! Told them he wasnt home and when I asked if I could take a message they said that they would call back. We decided to search the area code, because it wasnt one that we knew, and turns out you all had the same problem!Anyway, glad to hear it's a scam, and glad we got to the bottom of this!!

This number keeps calling my cell phone and when I pick up, they hang up. It's annoying. I called back and kept getting a voicemail telling me to book a tour. How are these people getting my number? I don't leave it anywhere.
(212) 736-6919
Called and asked for my GF. I said she wansnt home, and asked if they woudl liek to leave a message, i got a "NO! We'll call back" and hangup.. kinda rude... so i get a call from my GF from work, they caleld her cell phone 2 times within 15 mins...she pointed me here, i checked otu that website that was posted.Just FYI to all people .. do a Whois search on any website, its free,, you'll come up with valiuable information, like the legal owner, phone number etc... and most inportant, that website domain was created on 11-jan-2007 not very old for a cruise line is it?
(212) 736-6919
im talking to this guy right now.

Someone - either yourself, or someone who wanted to be cute - put your name & number down on a "contest entry" at some sort of event or show. I know better - but did it anyway - and have gotten two calls from them already. This last time I told them to remove my name & number - at which point the idiot on the other end got lippy asking "Why did you register if you didn't want to win" - to which I said - I did enter what I thought was a contest to win a free trip - not be sold a "discounted travel opportunity"...we'll see if they stay away...

Someone from this phone number called my cell phone but didn't leave a voicemail message.
(212) 736-6919
This exact number called me today and the caller ID said "Teletours, Inc". Never left a message and I refuse to answer these numbers. I am on the DO NOT CALL list yet continue to get calls from stupid telemarketers. So annoying.
(212) 736-6919
I just got a call from this phone number. I did not answer. They never left me a message. I think I gave them my no at the Providence Flower show.

Lady by the name of Michelle called. I had gone to a wedding show and somehow they got my number. I did not even enter for a draw, they were not a vendor there. Anyways, I was told I won a 4 day vacation to Bahamas and had to pay right away a deposit of either $149, 299, or the total amount of $598 for a package worth $3000. I said I needed to verify and would call her back, but she insisted she'd call back in 15 mins. I called my friend who I went to the wedding show with, she received a phone call as well, and she supposedly won too. Michelle called back and I told her I wasn't interested. She was rude and hung up. Whatever u do don't give them any personal information. She did however give a website --- www.imperialcruisevacations.com --- TOTAL SCAM THOUGH. Such liars! BEWARE...
