i just received a call from "roy" at the windsor group about my car. I know I am a little behind on my payments, but I thought that was all worked out with chase finance. I will call chase finance again but I will not deal with these people.

A lady from Windsor Group has been calling and leaving messages with a case number everyday trying to find my son. Saying it's a personal matter. She has even called my neighbor asking questions. ( which it's none of my neighbors business )When she did that, that's when I really got ticked off. I did call her back, but of course I only got a voice mail, so I left her a message. (not a pleasant one)

The have called me twice leaving messages, the last one they said if I dont call them back there is going to be trouble and the local county sheriffs would be paying me a visit. This is over my ***hers vehical that has a few late payments I'm pretty sure. Extremely rude and I dont respond well to threats.

we got this call saying that my dad had been involved in a car or truck robbing case and asked for info like where you live what apartment do you live in... but we really dont know if they are planning on kidnapping one of us or this is a fraud windsor group are scary people

started getting calls from windsor group saying they have a case claim against me and needed me to contact them for my statement.  I've never been in Texas, so I don't think I will be returning their call. Thanks for all the input.  If they have a case against me...  I will wait until they mail me a summons.

My parents received a call from a Will Anderson at ext. 1106 claiming to be a property investigator and needed to get in touch with my fiance.  My parents called me concerned, and I called Mr Anderson back myself.  He gave very vague and incomplete answers concerning why he was calling.  He would never say how he got my parents number or my name.  He proceeded to say that he didn't tell my parents he was a property investigator and someone had filed a claim (he didn't say what kind of claim) against my fiance.  He said that he had been leaving messages for my fiance for days, which I know was untrue.  He put me on hold and told me had the wrong person then hung up.

My son is getting calls from this number and when I call it back the message says windsor group.  My son is 16 years old and there is no reason this company should be trying to contact him.

these people are real trust me if u dnt give them you are going to get locked up! trust me i should know! but on the other had they are good people just trying to do there job!!!!

Someone named Todd Jones called from this number and stated I needed to call him about a death investigation for a name I never recognized.  When I Googled the number and came to this site, I clicked the Windsor Group link and found out the truth.  Now I've had some minor issues about some car payments that I just cleared up, but why act as if something else is going on?  Not everyone is a deadbeat or delinquent purposely and using deceptive practices to "flush someone out" isn't necessary.

Someone called me from this number and said they were investigating a incident that happened in Dallas county with a vehicle that was registered to my husband and referred to the make and model and state of licence plate. At first I thought it was law inforcement and got worried. But then thought it was odd because they called my workplace (I never give out my work number) and got my first name wrong. I called back and got an automated recording saying they were the Winsor Group. I thought that was odd too so I started looking around on the web and found this site. So I am assuming it is fraudulent!? We are not outstanding on the loan on this car and have always paid the payments so if they are a collection agency like some people here say, why are they calling me?? Before I found this site, I was worried sick about this. This is not appropriate and not cool that these people are messing with peoples lives!!

I got threw dealing with the Windsor Group. They have 3 different departments. Skip trace, private investigations, and legal. They gave me there PI NO# A14647 which I looked up and it is Windsor Investigations in Dallas. I also checked the Texas Supreme Court web site. And they do have certified process servers. And the bar no# they gave me is for an attorney.

Aug.29,2008Got a call today from a gentleman in regards to my ex-daughter-in-law.  Something to do about property.

Miss Moore has called me twice this week about an old frined I dont even see anymroe, sh asked me f I was married? weird?? after reading all this about the company I told her today not to call me back and she said I will get in trouble and that she will send the authorities to my house right now for not helping out with the investigation....I dont even know how she got my cell # and my name and how she knew I was frineds with this person....

Nothing but Fraud!    It's internet/e-mail Phishing gone to the phones.   I guess they're getting in too much trouble by phishing thru e-mail so now they're trying this stunt.   They better be stopped soon.... I almost fell for it.

These people say they are the windsor group, and they constantly hang up on my answering machine. I called back, and Natasha hung up on me a few times.  So did Tiffany.  They said they locate people, and would not tell me anything else.  They will call again, I am sure of it, and I have already told them to stop calling.  If they do again, I will call the police and press charges.  Everyone else should do the same.  Beware, I do not know if they are connected, but lately mail mail has been opened on a few occasions, and if these people think they are slick in trying to locate someone, I would not put it past them, considering all the other blogs I have read about them.  I don't care how much it costs, I will sue them if I get one more phone call.  Just so everone knows, once you tell a company to stop calling you, you can sue them and receive $500 per every time they call you after that.  KEEP A LOG!

i won't answer these calls, thanks to everyone's observance. please. someone put a stop to these people.

Calling family asking for personal infomation.Have never heard of Mr. Herman or his company.

I have received numerous call from a person calling herself Inv. Coleman. She keeps informing me that she had filed a claim against my mother for a matter that does not pertain to me, this woman has called my work numerous time and claimed to be a law enforcement personal as well she called stating she was my mother and it was an emergency.  This is not the first time this lady has called my work, she wanted to get personal information out of my manager about her who is no relation or does not even know my mother.They are rude and unprofessional and have costed me my job because of false statements about being an emerency and needed to pull me off the phones and it was not an emerency.

A gentleman from this agency has called around to my brother in laws family members advising that he is an investigator and he is investigating a cause of fraud against a financial institution. They are full of themselves, they do not realize the trouble that they can get into in regards to this matter. They be a "investigator" for their company, but they try and lead you to believe that they are with a law enforcement agency. They went as far as contacting my brother in laws brother that he has not spoken to in about 2 years.
