Contacted by this man claiming to live in Naples had an accent and had only been in Florida for about a year . Working as an independent sub contractor for the oil industry and also does consulting .
Claimed to 'click here' for my latest property tax bill....I think NOT...
Stated this was a personal****istant position. And that my weekly pay would be $600. And a check was sent to me via USPS- I did receive it. It’s a cashiers check. (Probably fake) and that once I deposit it I would take my weekly pay out. Then send the rest to a charity as a donation. Screaming scam from the s****.
That they sent a FedEx package with a check for payment and to send to a charity donation
They manipulated me to make payments on their behalf which I reported immediately.

As I posted a potential sublease for my apartment, a person using false facebook identity reached out and basically sent a bad e-check through email. I researched this phone number which obviously did not show the name they were using nor that location they claimed they lived. No legitimate social media was found other than a name coming up saying that her facebook account was hacked by someone who was buying/selling apartments. This number texted me wanting to verify my own phone number through a code. After calling my bank who walked me through the process, this detected scammer has been blocked and deleted from phone.
