everyday about 4 times per day, I get these calls from this number. I just got this cell phone, so I don'tknow the number myself so how in the world do they keep calling me. I did a survey on walmart.com for the chance of winning a 1000 gift card and i put my new cellphone number in the required home phone field. They called my hubby's cell at 7am, I asked who they were with, she said GCR said my husband filled out a survey to win 500$. I said - do u realize it is 7am? she said they use a dialer to pull phone numbers to call- I am familiar with this- as I managed this for a corp- and we had to abide by the no call before 9am or after 9pm. I told her she needed to tell her manager that it is illegal to make calls this early and subject to $500 fine per incident---that is federal law because intrastate commerce- but hard to prove- she then hung up- but hopefully they recorded the call. Now- people have been calling saying we won $2500 and wanted to verify we were in good standing with the credit card we used to buy some magazines- they wanted us to verify acct and exp- i said hell no! called the Mag company and they said that was not them- beware- skanky people are getting more creative
