i am getting calls from this company everyday and have told them numerous  times that i dont need or want a warranty.  they still caLL FROM DIFFERENT NUMBERS.  THEY NEVER LEAVE A MESSAGE THEY JUST HANG UP THE PHONE.  THIS HARRASSING!!!

Mess with these scumbags! When you get the guy on the phone act like the message you just heard was for a website that shows him and his mother doing all sorts of sick s**t. They will usually hang up on you right away so to try to keep him on the line, first thing you say is "so your mom is a w***e?" Sometimes this will get their attention and some kind of reaction. Then tell them "yeah, the message I just heard was for a web site to watch you and your mom getting it on" or whatever you can come up with to set them off. It can be very entertaining and you keep them on the line wasting their time.

I just received a call from this number at 12:30 pm.  Auto Warranty call.  I receive these all the time from different numbers, sometimes twice a day.  This crap needs to stop.

They've been caplin me for a while and I don't answer if I don't know the number cuz I expect them to leave a message but they never do. I'm glad I found this site, next time I'll answer and let you know what happens

I have gotten a handful of calls from this number asking to renew my vehicle warranty.

Who are you. Stop calling me if I don't know you.

Thanks to Sean and many others.  I understand the problem better with 1-240-699-8968 now.  I pushed #2 "as directed" before to remove my number and it never worked.  They bombarded both my house phone and cellphone yesterday and today.  Will these comments from us get anything changed?

I got a call to my cell phone from this number as well. I didn't answer and no message was left. Total scam artists! I've had calls before asking if I want to "extend my auto warranty" and that is totally a scam. I don't appreciate these people calling my cell phone!

Just got a call from them about extending my car warranty (which expired over 2 years ago).  I pushed "1" to talk to a representative because I get calls like this all the time, but it disconnected me.  I tried to call them back, but it said the number did not exist.

This is terribly annoying and violates privacy.  This number "240-699-8968" should somehow be penalized or punished and stop calling. A waste of time, a waste of money.

Yeah, these low life scumbags have now started calling celphones and now I have to also pay for receiving these calls. How can we report these numbers to regulators?

This number keeps calling me! several times a week. Twice I have answered and they said they were calling to help me with my credit card debt. when i told them i dont even own a credit card so thats impossible, they just hung up. However, they have still called at least 4 or 5 times since then. Can i just call the phone company and have the number blocked?

I recieved a call from this number and 516-889-7486, must both be the samething, 'cause I look them up and they are both "warranty" companies for automobiles.

They called about car warranty, I pressed 1 to speak to a representative who I couldn't hear clearly, when I asked her to repeat herself, she hung up.

Same as everyone else said.  Just got a call from this "auto warranty" scam.I have evidence knowing *exactly* how they obtain their numbers though:I have a Tracphone they are calling that was activated about 2 weeks ago.  It has never been used to make an outgoing call, nor has received any calls yet.  The phone  number is listed on a corporate website I have, which pretty much says it all:These people mine the internet for their phone numbers.  Plain and simple.What bugs me is I pay by the minute and they are stealing my money!!When I mentioned, "do not call list" the "rep" hung up immediately.  There is a second scam out there (probably by these same people) that mined the same phone number they called on today.  The second scam called yesterday and was calling to verify that my credit was OK.  They claimed to be Experian when I suggested they mined my number from Google.  Pretty sad that the FTC is so weak and can't do anything about this.

Not only do they call, but I have asked them to remove my phone number from their call list and they still call.....

I just got this call about 10 minutes ago at 5:30 PM EST. I didn't pick up and no voicemail was left. They called my cell phone, which really annoys me. I'm in northern Delaware.Honestly, why do these idiots call cell phone numbers? Don't they realize it's technically against the law and that it could impede an emergency call?

I got similar phone about my 'Car warranty' . I asked for written or email information about their policy, the lady said I can not provide unless you buy it. She is not ready to provide website info..or any other info. Don't give your info on phone...complete fraud call.

Auto dialer, "You car warranty is about to expire..."   This is certainly a spoofed caller-id which is easy to do these days. The people doing his don't care about Do-Not-Call or anything else. Might be fraud, taking your credit card number, or at best a low-value auto warranty deal. Avoid. I've had similar calls from several other spoofed caller-ids.
