A call from this number claimed there were charges on a MasterCard that the recipient did not own. They had the person's name and the last four digits of their Social Security number. The caller, allegedly from Visa Fraud, stated that the recipient's debit card had been compromised and asked for card number validation. The recipient contacted their bank's fraud department, which confirmed no such activity.

Called said I had some MasterCard charges on my card. I don’t have a card that begins with 5148. They had my name and my last four of my Social Security is this a fraud

Supposedly Visa Fraud telling me my debit card had been compromised and asked that I validate the number to ensure they were talking to me. I called my bank's fraud department and was advised that there was no such activity.
