Yes, they are process servers.  They will come more and more and then they increase there tactics. They have yell through the door, spoken to neighbors, and even sat in the drive way yelling the name of the person  on the paperwork and honking their horn many times. DO NOT give any indication you are there or respond in any way, all they need is a person 12 years or older at that address to serve you.  It can be anyone there as long as they get someone to talk to them your served.  By law you are not required to answer the door.  Also, I had three or four people trying to serve my at one point, ( they would come as late as 9:30 or so, especially on weekends.)  Finally, there last effort was to send a cop from the "civil unit" whose job is to serve papers amone other things.  He was very loud shouted through the door calling our last name and identifying himself as a county sheriff. He was there for what seemed like an eternity, he threatened to go to my neighbors, but  just went to a silver unmarked car and turned on his lights and sirens for a minute or two. That happened two weeks in a row and then all of them just stoped for a long while.  They just started there routine again in the last few weeks, maybe a new plantiff or an old one with new found vigor.  Bring it on, you arn't serving me!  If they serve you, you will have a judjement they can exicute in a few months, ie. garnish wages, lein on your prperty, or even sell your car at auction and keep the proceeds to satisfy the judjement.  So, what ever you do dont call, answer the door, or communicate in any way with them, (even guests at your place can get your papers served to them, it counts.)  I know I got served once two years ago, I should have known who they were.  Now I got a jugement on me and the only way to get rid of it is to pay or file for bankruptcy.  DONT ANSWER THE DOOR!

A pink "unable to deliver" type card was left on my door. No company name was on the card, very cryptic, and no one would answer the phone # given. John Parker was the name listed on a line.

It is also a SERVER for court. Watch out they play games to try to serve you papers.

Same thing happened to me and they stuck something in my door and I found out they also went to the vehicle licensing dept and got my home address, so they could come stick little notes in my door.  These people are process servers.The name of the place is ABC Legal messengers located in Tacoma , Wa and several other locations.   Their phone number that they left was 253-272-3668 and also 253-209-1443  also the name Libby was on the bottom of the bright green colored paper.  I would advise not answering your door if your not expecting any thing from anyone. I think this is invasive and there should be laws against this thing except I guess sinse they are a legal service they can stalk you without any consequences.

It's a collection agency.

Same thing happened to me.  However they don't bother knocking. They just leave the notice.  My guess is that they don't have your phone number so they are trying to get your number using caller ID.  People who get a notice like this will call trying to find out what the package is and all you are doing is giving the collection agency your phone number so they can pester you.

A lady with Blonde hair by the name of Libby H. driving a older Honda Accord keeps knocking at my door. She keeps returning over and over again, doing the same ole thing (Knocking). I have no clue who she is... I do not open the door for dizzy woman who enjoy knocking on private property. serious joking aside ... I found out that she is some kind of summons carrier or collection agency in downtown tacoma. Hopefully she will understand the No Trespassing notice given today. Now her daily unknown show ups are reported to the prosecutors office. My advice is to disregard her knocking.... do not answer your door. Maybe soon she will give up. She leaves a bright green door notice with callback numbers of 253 272 3668 and 253 209 1443 this line is a Qwest Communications carrier of phone service with the location of downtown tacoma.

I didn't actually receive a call from this number but I found a large bright-pink printed note wedged into my front door on Mother's Day afternoon. It said, "We were here with a delivery & unable to find you home...  Please Call: (253) 272-3668   9 - 5 -- Mon - Fri   Thank You.   #5882008"  I was not expecting any type of Mother's Day gift such as flowers or a fruit basket. I am wondering if it could be a really tacky method of delivering a summons.... I cannot find any business listing of this number on the internet. Does anyone know who this number belongs to?
