Scam. I had the same call today. First requested by my maiden name. Then said debt collector for a cash loan that I have never taken out. They had all my information, name, DL#, SS#. One of the main things that I know that this is a scam it happened to my husband and he fell for it since they had all his information. Lost 1k because of this. It was reported to the police and they said a lot of ppl have been reporting these type of calls. DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR TRICK. They know how to also keep you on the phone where you can't make other calls and you can't **** up because they will stay on your phone even after ****ing up. Not sure how they are doing this but, please, don't fall for it. They will call from multiple different numbers.

This person called and said he was a debt collector for a cash loan I made five years ago. He had my driver's license number, my full name, and the last four numbers of my social security number. I have never taken out a cash loan, and monitor my credit diligently.
