This is a business called Swee****er. They were calling to acknowledge an order I did online and to tell me that they shipped it same day.

Robocall tell me I was going to jail unless I call back and explain why my ssn was flagged.

Not spammers. Sweetwater is the best!

Sweetwater I used to buy from them when I had a band. Unfortunately I had to hang it up and get a big boy job. Ive let them know im outta the biz, but they seem to forget to take me off their call list:/ every time they call.....

This is definitely Sweetwater. Received a call shortly after my order letting me know that it had been received and the item (s) I ordered were out of stock for that day, but a new shipment was arriving the next day and wouldn't delay my expected delivery date any even though it was Easter weekend. I appreciated the personal touch of letting me know my order was received and was actually bring processed. They asked me if I had any questions about the items that weren't answered on their site. They also talked with me a little about my purpose for ordering to help me make sure I was ordering what I actually needed and that I would have everything needed. Rather than just trying to push extra "accessories" for me to buy, he gave me some suggestions on how to best integrate my purchase into my system with my existing components. I appreciated this so much more than the computer response I get from others telling me my order was placed, but no other confirmation on it or ability to locate my order in their system leading me to wonder if my order was even received. And then the 1,000's of emails I get from them and their "associated vendors" with "spectacular deals" for things I have no interest or need for buying. Thank you, Sweetwater.

Call from Sweetwater regarding an order I had just placed. Absolutely wonderful customer service ! If you'd rather they not call, then simply tell them and they stop. Great people to deal with.

SWEETWATER.....GIVE THEM A BREAK. THEY'RE PROVIDING UNBELIEVABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE......Buy from them all the time....We're all just so used to lousy customer service from every other place we shop...we've forgotten what exceptional customer service is....., with a few exceptions, give them a break.

Give them a break! They just have good customer service and follow up. If you don't wanna talk to them then answer and ask them not to call again.

I have been called by this number daily since May or June this year.  They call my office first and then my cell phone (which I have to leave on my office voicemail.) They have NEVER left a message.  I would have returned their first call if a message had been left for me.  Intrusive and annoying?  How about rude.

I just received the call today. It must be a sales engineer. A+ for Sweetwater and Chuck! =)

I received a call from this number. As the prior posts say it was Sweetwater. They were calling me (within an hour) after  I placed an order with them. As I did not answer, SW left a voice mail and told me that they bumped up my shipping to a quicker shipping method. This call was a surprise but not intrusive - although I wonder why an email couldn't have said the same thing. If SW calls again - without request - like some of the above posts - then it could become intrusive/annoying.

Sweetwater is a good company and while they are sometimes just a tad pricier than the other online music gear vendors, they are usually competitive and also carry some pro audio items I haven't found anywhere else.  However, I have to agree with all of the other posters who find their practice of calling to follow up on an online order or just to "check in" very annoying.  In fact, like some others here, I am so put off by this that I usually make a point of shopping elsewhere.  When I need to talk to a human being, I have found that all of the major online music retailers (e.g. Musician's Friend, ZZounds, Sam Ash) have knowledgeable, helpful people answering the phones.  However, I prefer to chose when and if I talk to someone.  By the way, I have the same problem with Guitar Center.  They sometimes call just to "take my temperature" and always call to follow up and say "thank you" for an in-store purchase.  That can be a real drag when they get your wife who doesn't know you just went out and bought yourself an expensive toy! :)

I agree that Sweetwater Sound is a good company, but...why does their Caller ID say "NO NAME"? You'd think they would want people to know who's calling. Anyway, I like their quarterly flyers: interesting musical information.

i got so tired of these nuts calling my home all the time (after one stinkin' sale) that i finally had to block their number..you know what?.. just buy your stuff from musician's friend or zzounds.. they never bother me after the sale & their prices are better anyway..geeeez, you guys lost a customer...  give it up already.hey, here's a thought, if you want to increase sales just drop your prices below that of the guys above and you won't even have to call me..oh yeah, BTW, nobody believes all the shill comments that you guys typed in above & below my post..nice try though for the dummies that might believe them..

i never answer because i forget who these guys are, but it is Sweetwater. Great catalogs, etc. I like 'em because they don't call every friggin' day - just once or twice a year to see how things are going and answer any questions. Good people. Great for musicians and music enthusiasts alike.

These guys are the best, I bought a computer accessory from them a couple of years ago, really stellar customer service and now they call me periodically every 8-9 months or so. It's not in the least intrusive, always polite and always sincerely checking in just to see, and at least reminds me they are still there. It's a brilliant marketing effort at least. I wish the majority of online merchants would even try at least half as well. If they had anything else I wanted they'd be my first choice hands down. But they focus entirely on musicians and I can't find much else in the general; felt so bad I asked them to stop sending me their 400 page catalog every 6 months, those things are expensive to create and ship. That's how much I appreciate these guys and their excellence in customer relations. So, buy something large or small from these guys and experience a brilliant and, as for me, appreciated customer relations effort that is unobtrusive and quite nicely done. Then spread the word to all those other "Hacks" out there how it could be done and how far off the mark they are.

Sweetwater Sound - they're a great company. They follow up after sales or every few months-year. Just asking for your name to be removed is always handled professionally and courteously. I don't believe their calls are soliciting new business - you've probably bought something from them before.

Sweetwater is a legitimate business, but they are more annoying than used car salesmen.  A friend of mine bought a pricy item for me on his credit card 5 year ago, and they still call and harass his ex-wife after numerous attempts to get his old phone number removed from their database.They just called me again this morning and woke me up.  Not everybody lives on the East coast, Sweetwater.

They're cool stuff. They have a legitimate reason for calling you. No need to be upset. They're pros. If you shop gear, I highly recommend them
