If you get a text from this number, its probably your uber driver trying to reach you. i.e. "I've arrived." If not you, text back asap saying "this number no longer belongs to your rider please report to uber". (Maybe try typing "unsubscribe" or "stop")

This is a legitimate uber number. Uber used it to connect me directly to my actual rider. Of course, you never want to discuss personal or financial details with any rider. (Hence they now add the disclaimer about that) Only talk about the current pickup/drop-off, or arrangement to return a left item) If someone does request personal info, report it to uber.

All they said was "I've arrived"

Asked if I got my message and they were there to pick me up at the airport. The caller proceeded to ask if I was (my name) but I said no that they must have the wrong number.

I didn’t answer because I thought it was spam. A genuine caller would have left a message. But, no message

Caller states they have been trying to reach us regarding our internet service and we will be disconnected unless we talk to them. Since we don’t have our internet through ATT we know it’s a scam
