Called about some returned check. I went ahead with the call and talked to “counsel” check was from a bank I’ve never done business with. I haven’t even written a check in 10 years, and when they tried to verify the last 4 of my ssn it was close but not right. I think it’s a scam

They have called my number a couple of times. Each time I answer they hang up. I called back to find out who it was and was told numerous companies use this number. I told them to stop calling and harrassing me or I would report them, and then they asked if I was "Andrea". That's not my name nor anyone associated with me or my family. I've had my number for 5 yrs now. I plan on blocking the number from my phone and will make certain not to answer it again. Probably a debt collector but since I'm not in debt & am not "Andrea" they have royally screwed up, but I am the one who has had to suffer for their idiocy!
