So that fraud case you linked to? Sage isn't being indicted. They simply provided the terminal that was used in the defendants' restaurant. That's like calling Buick fishy because some guy drove one into a schoolyard. They could've gotten that terminal from any number of ISOs, MSPs, processors, etc. This one just happened to be from Sage.All I'm saying is is that if anyone here has a merchant account or agreement with a VAR or payment processor, you very well may be in Sage's network and not even know it. As the old saying goes, don't hate the player, hate the game. The payment industry is filled with these types of business relationships that easily go unnoticed. My suggestion would be to call whomever you setup your merchant account with or purchased your payment application from. The road very well could lead legitimately back to Sage.

I got this email from them with a their number on it. I think they might be hooked up with Northern Leasing and Radius Financial. My company was repeatedly called by what I believe to be fax bots from "Sage Payment Solutions" with the numbers below:240-436-6130240-436-6132240-436-6133240-436-6134240-436-6135240-436-6140240-436-6141240-436-6143My company number is a voice number that is not listed anywhere, other than with my credit card processing agent, and with Visa, Discover and Mastercard. I am not sure why Sage Payment Solutions is trying to contact me, as I have never contacted them in the past.I called Sage Payment's customer service, and they couldn't provide me with any explanation for the calls I received.Lastly, Sage Payment Solutions appears to be quite a questionable company according to some information I found online. I had these guys call me as well at 5AM since I'm in California. Seems like someone did a chargeback and my cell phone was put in as a fax number as a default. Sage Payment Solutions had to get in touch with Merlin (the chargeback people calling me at 5am) to resolve.

The faxes you are being sent are notifications of a CHARGEBACK. If they are going to your cell phone then that means your merchant service provider needs to update your fax number. You will have to call them to have this change. The faxes are sent by computer and therefore cannot tell if it is a cell or fax. Again, CALL YOUR MERCHANT SERVICE PROVIDER TO HAVE YOUR FAX NUMBER UPDATED.
