Said they were Barclays and there was a possible fraudulent charge on my account. Wanted my date of birth and last 6 of SS#. When I said I wasn’t comfortable providing that they transferred me to a supervisor. I told them they have my account info in from of them they shouldn’t need my SS#. They told me to Google the number they are calling from to see if it’s legit. I ended I hanging up on them.

I got a call from this number. They did not leave a message. I am thinking this is SPAM since they did not leave a message. If someone calls me and I do not answer my phone and they wanted or needed to talk to me they would leave me a message, correct? To call me from an UNRECOGNIZED phone number and then not leave me a message is SPAM to me!!!

It's a phishing call trying to obtain info, including PIN numbers. Someone stating he was 'Cameron' from Barclay Bank, stating the call was being recorded, but asked phishing questions: verify your date of birth and street address. After I hung up, I called the # on the back of my credit card and described the call. They sent me to Security that had no record of anyone there contacting me.
