Thru internet sites like this one learned someone's calling to confirm a doctor's appointment. Sorry, I don't have any appointments scheduled with anyone! And not waiting for any meds either. This was an automated reminder for my scheduled doctor's appointment the next day with a local doctor. What I really loved about this system was the fact that it offered an option to cancel the appointment by pressing the number 4. I had forgotten about the appointment; so I pressed 4. Then I was instructed to press 4 again to confirm the cancellation. I pressed 4 again, and the recording then advised me to call during regular office hours to reschedule. What a great system! I just wish the caller I.D. display identified the purpose of the automated call (something like "confirming doctor's appointment").
