This appears to be a LEGAL Telemarketer for those on the dnc registry list. As research companies can call you. If they are calling for sales, and you’ve never had previous business with them then: Complaints need to be filed with 1) DNC.gov 2) FTC.gov 3)FCC.gov and your State's Attorney General. If 1 & 2 see a pattern (i.e. multiple complaints) they will investigate and file necessary charges. Th­ey are in violation of Federal laws if their calls are before 8:00 am or after 9:00 am; or on weekends and/or holidays. Also they could be considered in violation, if they call more than twice a day. If the calls persist, I believe contact information was previously posted on this forum. Send the following letter to the Firm calling, and once you verify they’ve received your Certified letter (cost approx. $5.50 to send), they are in violation of Federal Laws, and you can sue them $1,000.00 for each call. Before you receive the green card back, go to USPS.com and do a track on the Certified mail number, you will see if they have in fact received your letter or not. We've been barely able to pay a mortgage, let alone credit cards etc. It's easy to tell someone else what to do. Maybe then you'd learn it isn't such a cut/dry situation. ­Oh, we've struggled. And the job last hasn't exactly been replaced. We're still behind in our Mortgage and trying to catch up, as with our other legal obligations. I can't work because of various health conditions, or I would, including a part time job at least. My husband started his own company with the tools of the trade, and now contracts for copier, computer, IT technical jobs as he has a computer science degree, and has years of experience in the others, especially the wide format copier / printers / computers. ­People, please read the Fair Debt Collector Practices Act; if a Debt Collector violates any one harrassment or other law in there; Federal Laws says you can sue them for $1,000.00 per violation. Received a call listed as "unavailable" on caller ID. They left no message - so they must be a telemarketer posing as a research company. Entered number on reverse listing and says it is Quantum Research in Boulder, CO. I will enter the number on my land line call rejection service.

I keep recieving calls from them several times a day to my work office number. I have asked them to stop calling and take me off their list. I still get the calls at least twice a day.

These guys call me EVERYDAY and never leave a message.  I'm thinking about answering one here soon with a very loud WTF and see where that takes us...

First time victim just a few moments ago.Decided to look up the number on google and got this site - guess I'll put my two cents in. I always****umed it was landlines, not cell phones that got the **** end of telemarketers, etc.Number called, I answered not looking at the caller ID (figured it was a friend) and a split second later the call was dropped. Called the number back, got some ma****e that said "Aspen Media & Market Research, we are currently closed-" at that point I stopped caring and ***g up.

MY EMPLOYER HAS BEEN RECEIVING MANY CALLS ALMOST DAILY FROM THIS NUMBER. MY STAFF IS BEING CONSTANLY HARRASSED BY DIFFERENT CALLERS. EACH TIME THEY CALL, WE REQUEST TO BE PLACED ON THE DO-NOT-CALL-REGISTER TO NO AVAIL. DO NOT ACCEPT THESE CALLS. FIGHT TERRORISM ANYWAY YOU CAN!!!!!!!!!

SOB's called me on my cell today, which is on the national DNC list. I don't answer calls I don't recognize.  No message left

They called me at work. I did not answer.

Called for the 5+ time and I did not answer. How do I report this number to stop these calls.

This number has started calling our business lines.  Once we answer, they immediately hang up.  REALLY irritating.

They have been calling three times a day for the last week.  I finally answered the phone and ended up taking a 35 minute survey regarding my spending habits, TV watching, where do I shop at etc.  I would recommend not answering this call.

Called 3 times this week, once every day at around 9:30am my time (EDT). Never leaves a message.

This number appears to be from Aspen Media & Market Research in Boulder CO.   I did not recognize number and did not answer.  Other information on other sites, quote them as being rude and other unprofessional conduct.  Here's the scoop, so to speak.  They've found a loophole for telemarketers, by sometimes saying they are a research survey company.  This keeps the donotcall.gov and possibly FTC.gov off their backs.  I say file complaints on them anyway.  Another place to file a complaint is with the Federal Communications Commission.  The rules they govern are stricter.  I believe it is complaint # 1008, or something like that.  It's been a few days since I filed a complaint on another number.FCC doesn't mess with complaints; and my complaints in the past have always been investigated!!!  FTC and donotcall, place complaints on a list, and will investigate, file charges if they see a pattern.  So everyone needs to file complaints, so that there will be a definite pattern!.Anyone have problems with Collection Agencies calling?  There are laws to protect Consumers from these jerks.  #1, they technically do not have any authority.  They usually purchase charged off bills, from other creditors for pennies on the dollar.  #2, because the bill is with an original creditor, you are NOT obligated to these jerks.  They will try to convince you that you are.  #3 the only way you become obligated to these agencies, is if you make payment arrangements with them; thereby creating a contract/agreement, where none exist, when they first contact you!!!If you answer the phone,  simply say:"I do not discuss financial matters by phone - send me a statement in writing and I will respond to it."  Then Hang up!!!  Otherwise, they will have you completely shaken!!!  The longer they keep you on the line, the more chance they have, to get money from you including payment arrangements – or payment agreement/contract!!!  You are NOT legally obligated to talk to them!!!Collection agencies are ruthless jerks!!!  They will tell you they are the original creditor when they are not - even though it is illegal, for them to do it, per Federal Consumer Protection Laws.  You can legally sue them for $1,000.00 per violation.When you do get a statement - google "FAIR DEBT COLLECTION PRACTICES ACT" One or more online Attorney websites will be shown.  These websites will have valuable information, including a Cease & Desist sample letter; or a Cease Communication letter.  Once received, it is a violation of the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, to contact you further.You can also educate yourself by reading Consumer Protection Laws at www.ftc.gov;  a lot of valuable information.  Don’t have time,  download and read later.  You will be glad you did!!!I am not an Attorney - just an Educated Consumer, in Consumer Protection Laws.  I have spent hours studying these laws and becoming familiar with them.  They have helped us and friends/family as well; and hopefully it will help someone, who reads this.And for those self-righteous criticizers, who say, just pay your bills on time; things happen to people with Credit Card debt, medical bills etc., often beyond their control such as job loss, divorce, death, illness etc. and you find your self in a bind.  We've been there, we know.  You do not plan to pay late, or not make payments; but if the income quits - there's not a whole lot one can do!  You then are forced to prioritize, Mortgage, Utilities, Car payment then food, if you can!  Other things have to be let go!  I hope this information will be helpful to somebody who reads it!!!  Also another site to check out is www.ccdnlaw.com, good information.  And they can help you!!!  If you fill out the contact us, put down your referral by tlcpetmommy – in the comments section;  they will know who I am!!!
