I got the same call about 2 months ago. Patrick Wilson from U.S. Dept of Investigations saying I was being charged with check fraud and other fraudulant charges. Said I had to pay $498 or they would start sending investigators to my job and home. The first time they started calling my phone the number came up as all zeros and they didnt leave a contact number in the voicemail. A month ago they finally left a phone number. I called back thinking this was true, which was when they demanded the 498. As soon as I said I am contacting my lawyer they hung up.Yesterday they started calling again with the same story, this time leaving an 866 number. I am going to answer it and tell them just what I think of terrorists and where they can go back to!!!

I am getting these call frequently at my job. What can I do? The names of the person and the company or "officer" change constantly. As far as I can tell, the accent is so heavy it is very hard to understand.

Got a call from a lady claiming to be officer Angela Greene had a real thick accent, I could barely understand her. Said she was with the US or UN crime division. She told me they had 4 allegations against me. I told her to fax me or send the paperwork regarding this. She said the paperwork was sent out already and that I either needed to settle the matter out of court or take my chances in court. That if I didn't respond to the matter by 12p today that police was coming to arrest me. I asked her what company was this with and she said EME marketing, someone I had never heard of or have gotten a loan from. She just kept repeating the same thing over and over until I hung up.

A message was left on my voice mail from Officer Patrick Wilson; it sounded like he said he was from the U.F. Investigation Bureau - it was a little difficult to make out because he had a very thick accent. In any event, he left the last 4 digits of my SSN and said there was a criminal case pending against me and to call before they contacted my job or came to my home or something like that. The message said that if I didn't call, that I should have my attorney call, and then he wished me good luck. Since when is it a crime to owe money? and if I don't have it, you can't get it ! In any event, I would think they would send me something in writing if they were on the level.

At first his name was Officer Robert Reachman and the next time his name was officer Daniel Wright from the United States Investigations Bureau Crime Prevention Unit. He told me to listen carefully, that he had a case with three charges against me, Bank Fraud was one of them, He stated that I had a payday loan of $210.00 and that I failed to pay it back in the 21 days to which was given to me. He gave me a case file# and told me that I had to obtain a prepaid credit card or use a credit/debit card that I already have to pay this debt. He would offer me an oocr( out of court reduction)for $430.00 otherwise he will be downloading the file to the police. I offered to overnight the payment in the form of a money order or cashier's check but this was not acceptable. The phone number that was left for me was 936-657-4222.

I also received a call today from officer Patrick Wilson, US Bureau of Investigations Crime Department. He told me I needed to listen closely. He started just spitting out my social security number, address, where I work and a bank account that I had fradulent activity on two years ago. He said that I was being investigated for criminal activity, I would go to court and lose my job. When I finally broke in and cut him off with questions as to fax me info on the company EME, what is my account number, is there address and phone number. I asked him what would it take to clear this up he said $200.00, and I woud allieviate court cost and attorney fees. I still demanded that he fax me information. I worked for an attorney and I wanted hime to go over the information. He hung up on me I called back three times, he hung up angrily three times. I called the local police department and filed a report. The officer even spoke to Patrick Wilson and even though he said he would fax the info he did not. Patrick Wilson was rude and nasty especially when questions were asked him that he did not anticipate. I hope the FBI gets involved and takes this trash off the streets, so that he can not bother or scam anyone else.

He then said he needed to call me back because he was talking to an attorney on the other line, I gave him the phone number for the FBI office here in Chicago- I sure hopes he calls back!

Scam Alert! Caller claims to be officer Mike Wilson from US Federal Bureau Investigations. Funny thing is he has a very thick middle eastern accent and a going by the same name, a "Mike wilson", that was calling me during the summer saying I owed for an outstanding payday loan. The payday loan NEVER existed, I told Mr. Wilson and his co-horts that I was onto their scam! They used to call saying they were National Affadavit Processing Services, now they claim they are from EME Marketing. My husband contacted EME Marketing and said the claim by Mr. Wilson is false. These jokers are calling me yet again... using a different number and a different company name.....but it's still the same old SCAM! If they call you and tell you that you owe a payday loan with EME Marketing, National Affadavit Processing Services,Loan Yes...HANG UP!! They have been reported to the police numerous times...but so far these bloodsuckers are untouchable.
