Caller asked to speak to my sister. I told them I was her POA and they would have to talk to me. They told me I had to fax them the POA. I asked them who they were. They said goodbye and hung up.

Called asking for two different people by name. Said she was collecting money on behalf of IRS. Called me by 3 or 4 different first names in the phone conversation. I don’t own any more to IRS. Phishing scam.

The person left a message on my voicemail but asked for someone else. He said he was from Harris and Harris, exactly like the other descriptions here and online. The message didn't say much but it seems like the same IRS scam. Of course, they would say they are calling on behalf of the state of Maryland. They are calling a maryland area code.
