I get the same thing Robert! I said that, too! It's obviously in service because I get a call at 9 a.m. every morning ( sometimes one or two more calls in the afternoon)except for Sundays. Last couple of days I've been getting these calls. Yes****ay it sounded like someone had their cellphone in their pocket and had accidentally called me from a bar. Today it's elevator music. I called the number back and got a pre-recorded message. You can opt out. Press 1, 1, 3. The second 1 is if you're calling from the phone that was called. Three is to be placed on their Do Not Call list. It takes 24 hours to update and it says to disregard anymore calls from them.Hope this helps.

They called me to tell me that I won a $1000 shopping spree. When I asked how I was selected he said randomly and that they also send out magazines to distribute them more in that area. I then told him to remove me from the lists and was ***g up on.

This is a scam company called Active Periodical, if you use Google to search the number you will find quite a few sites describing various ploys they are using to gather information on people. Sounds like a matter for FCC or the Police to deal with, and I for one am s****ing the ball rolling by reporting this to :http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htmIf enough complaints are registered they will be shut down.
