This number calls me 3 or 4 times every day so just called back, hit option 3 to remove then hit option 1 and then option 1 again (each to make certain you don't want these annoying calls anymore) and they say within 48 hours your number is off their list.

Keep calling my number 2-3 times a day. Can't anyone report this company to quit calling as I thought telemarketers were illegal. I would like to report them now to everyone who reads this.

For those of you looking for more details, the name of the caller is The PISA group. They are a telemarketing company located out of Oklahoma. Amongst other things, they have a very aggressive subscriber retention division. They work with publications throughout the US, calling former subscribers to get them to come back. Typically, unless you specifically ask, they will tell you they work for ________ newspaper with a special offer. They WILL continue to call if you do not answer. YOur best bet is to actually answer the call, tell them to remove you, AFTER FINDING OUT WITH NEWSPAPER THEY ARE CALLING ABOUT. Then follow up with the newspaper directly and tell them you do not want to be contacted again. If you ARE interested in resubscribing, most newspapers will make the promo rates being offered by third party solicitors. I know this information because I used to work for a newspaper in Maryland that has hired PISA Group in the past. Contact info for PISA is at http://www.thepisagroup.com/contact.php
