They are CACi, a debt collection agency. CACi4121 Union Rd., Ste 201St. Louis, MO 63129Toll Free: 877.449.4411Mon-Fri: 8 a.m.-10 p.m. CSTSat: 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. CSTSun: 3 p.m. - 7 p.m. CSTFound this info on another site: I am a former employee of CACi, the company that is contracted by US Bank to collect when consumers are late paying their US Bank credit cards. CACi is a little collection company that makes a lot of cash by ripping off and thieving poor people that can’t pay their credit card bills on time. When a person be late paying their US Bank Visa card they be getting called from CACi. CACi employees are told to say that they are US Bank employees when they are not because CACi is contracted by US Bank and operates under the name of US Bank.Where the scam be happening is with the “check over the phone”. The usually poor consumer is pressured into doing a “check over the phone” and is charged a $10 fee for doing this electronic check. The consumer be lied to and told that the only way to be getting them out of collections is to do the electronic check over the phone. This is a lie. A consumer can be getting out of collections if she takes the payment to a US Bank branch, mails in the payment, or pays online for free. The $10 fee for each electronic check seem like a little amount of money but imagine thousands of check fees for $10 each. Many poor people who are not aware and think that US Bank would not rip them off pay the $10 fee each month because CACi tries to keep people in collections forever to keep them making the $10 check fee. US Bank is in on the scam because they knowingly use CACi because they can charge the poor people that hold their visa cards $39 every time they are late on a payment. Some people are late every month and US Bank will not tell them so they can keep taking the fee. Imagine if your credit card payment was due on the 5th but you thought it be due on the 12th and kept making payments on the 12th. You would get a $39 late fee from US Bank, a $10 fee from CACi, pay a “collection rate” of interest of over 30% and also be charged another $39 every payment cycle that you are over the credit limit which you will be soon with all the extra fees!!! This is how they be scamming to make game on the public.
