I received a text message from this number saying: “ Hey there ****** I am rea****g out to chat about your place on **** ****x Ave. Do you have a few minutes?” I responded by asking how they got my information and received no reply so I called the number. A lady answered who said her name was Sarah, that her and her husband are supposedly house investors, and that she got my info from a list. I told her I wished to be removed from the list. She was not courteous about it. Then moments later I received the following texts: “Tax Records gives us a list of landlords in the city of st louis, i hired a company to give me your phone number. its really easy to get info. the message..” “ u respondeded didnt u?” To which I replied: “I called just now and asked to be removed, yes.” And they replied back: “its not like i sent u a ***** photo of my neighbor” “ 10/4. will do. have a good night” They clearly have no issues about sending unsolicited messages to someone’s private phone number, yet they’ve made sure their number is untraceable.
