My number in the DO NOT CALL list, however, I got a strange call from this one

Repeated calls from this number...saying debt relief agency. After numerous calls, I asked to be removed from their mailing list. Caller very rude....called me a liar when I told him that I had received numerous calls from this number.

They continually call my home night and day stating they can get us out of debt. It's been a month now and after we have repeatedly told them to STOP calling our home they hang up! Then, they call again the next day. I have filed a complaint with the attorney general. They are of Indian decent and are VERY RUDE!

The above number appeared under my name. (my name,315-498-9580) I consider this identity theft. The carrier for this number is verizon NY in Syrcuse.

These people,both male and female, hounded us for weeks. Finally, I told a man with a strong accent to stop calling or we would go to the authorities.( They all spoke English as a second language).The verynext call with a message within 3 minutes came from someone who sounded like the last caller. He said," We comin down there to ____ your a**,good! What you think of that?! You ----ing b***h. Smelly,----ing w***e,smelly---ing w***e! Go to Hell! (more loadly) If you still listening..Go to hell,again!!"A threat of this nature constitutes assault.

This person called asked for me she told me this is Consumer Financial. I told her I wasn't interested. She got nasty told me I don't even know why she was calling and hung up.

This is not a financial company, this is a compnay promising to consolidate debt but is really seeking seeking to obtain pesonal information. The called ID is a false number, if you call this number back it is disconnected.

Received this phone call today. I didnt pick up though. It showed that the phone call was from New York.

Have called at least three times today to the house phone. First time the wife answered and the person asked for someone with my and our son's name. Niether of us were home so she hung up. They have since called twice in less than 10 minutes asking the same question. The first time I raised my voice a bit to lety them know that I could barely hear them. I was told that I didn't need to shout. I again asked in a raised voice "What do you want?" I was told to lower my voice. I told them that we are on the National Do Not Call List and do not call again. A few minutes later another call asking for someone with my name. I again asked them "What do you want?". The person on the other end said something about having unsecured debt. I asked how did he know this, he then starting cussing. I told him we are on the National Do Not Call List and do not call again, and then hung-up. SCAMMERS/PHISHERS to the MAX!!!!!!!

I'm on the Do Not Call list. If and when I need something I make the call... irritating.

I keep getting a call from this # saying they are a Financial Company to get people out of debt. I am not in debt and I am on the Do Not Call list. They will not quite calling. I just keep telling them they have a wrong #.

Tragically, the calls are from New York to any state but New York. Enforceability across state lines is non-existent. The one solution I have found is to use a good ol' police or referee whistle. The phone rings, you see who it is on the caller ID, answer the phone & let them have a blast before they can say anything. People don't like calling back when they know that their ear drums are going to be abused.

They called me 3 times in one day using a different company name each time but the same number showed on caller i.d. I finally asked the last guy to put me in touch with his supervisor as I was getting no where with them obviously and the guy on the phone, an indian male, started telling me to suck his d*** and using all sorts of other profanity and telling me what he wanted to do to me. This company or companies are apparently some type of debt consolidation company, not a debt collector. They were asking if I still owe over $10k and if so, they can help me. I'm going to help them now with a call to my friendly local attorney general.

If they call more than once,  dial *57 after each call.  If they call more than 5 times,  file a complaint with your local police and phone company.  Then prosecute them for harassing phone calls, don't bother with the federal do-not-call list as that is never enforced.Good Luck

Keeps calling me repeatedly, very annoying.  I am on the do not call registry, please prosecute!

I got a call from these people this morning, something about credit card debt, (which I don't have), then when I told them I wasn't interested and to not call me again because I was on the Do Not Call list she just hung up.  They called about two hours later but my husband didn't pick up the phone and they didn't leave a voice mail.  I've been looking around the internet and it seems to be some kind of scam that just got started up as everyone's complaints are from the last week.  I have AT&T U-Verse and they say I can block the calls, we'll see.  In the meantime we're just going to hang up on them.  My husband wants to get into it with them but I said the best thing to do is just hang up.  I never engage with these people it seems to make things worse.

Hi. I got a call from someone with a Middle Eastern (Pakistan, India?)accent who said he was from Norstar Services at this same number. Sounds like they're changing their name, also.

I received a call from this number today, June 18, 2010 and the representative started by saying how much money I owe for my bills and I stopped him and told him I know how much I owe, however, I was not interested and please take me off of their call list.  The representative began calling me stupid b***h, and said I didn't know how to talk to people.  He also said "do you know who I am and what I can do" I told him I didn't care and called him an a**hole and hung-up.  I picked up the telephone to call the police, but he was still on the phone for about another two minutes.  He finally hung up, but called again and I asked if I could speak to his supervisor and he goes ohh, you want to speak to my supervisor, he's going to get you.  I hung up the telephone and tried to call back, but the number was no longer in service.  Please someone needs to do something about these people.

We are are the no call list. These idiots doesn't care, they called any way. I'm a free market capitalist, but the telemarketers need to be controlled.

They said they were a debt consolidator????  I DO NOT NEED ONE!!!  The man called 2x and was very annoying; I told him he had the wrong party and he said "he is never wrong"!I reported him to AT&T immediately!  THIS IS HARASSMENT AND UNCALLED FOR...

Just got a call from this number.  Someone who I could hardly understand said he was with Royal Financial.  Wanted me to verify I had at least $10,000 in credit card debt.  When I told him I was on the Do Not Call  list and to remove me, he became upset but I had difficulty understanding him. I just repeated about being on the Do Not Call list and to remove me and he finally hung up.

OMG...this company called my back 10 times in a row, screamed at me and told me that I didn't know what they can do for me. Hung up and they recalled and recalled and was verbally abusive to me. Told that I was on the do not call list and that I was reporting them to the FCC, called back and told me to call the FCC, he dares me. Nice. Wish that I had call block on my phone!

June 15, 2010 11:24am.Blue Star Financial and some idiot who could barely speak english.Since my number is on the National Do Not Call List, I've forward the innformation to the State and Federal Authorities.

They have been pestering me for hours. I just ignore their call, hopefully they will give up soon; autodial or not. Their other number is 718-755-4985

Called wanting to confirm that I owe $15000 in debt, I said I was not interested so he called back and said if I do not answer I am going to be put on an autodialer. They called back 15 more times. I am so livid right now.

Called me at 11:20 a.m. saying they are BLUE STAR FINANCIAL SERVICES and  "Do I have over $8000 in dredit card debt.? etc. and that I have been so loyal they want to cut my debt by 40%."  Yeah right!!  Said no thanks, hung up and so far no call back.

They are calling me every hour.

This number showed up on my Caller ID.  Unfortunately, my voice mail is not working so they did not leave me a message.  Would like to know why they are calling me.

Received a call from 315-989-9580 stating they were from Blue Star Lending and wanted to sell consolidation loan to consolidate debt.  When I said I was not interested and hung up they called right back and threatened to call thousands of times. They proceeded to call over and over for the next fifteen minutes.

got a call from this number and they told me I had X amount of credit card debt and was trying to get some sort of acknowledgement ... I asked immediately for them to take me off their call list and they hung up on me....

They stated they were from Bluestar Financial group and heard I had a lot of debt.  When I told them I was on the do not call list they hung up.  When I tried the number back it said it was not in service
