A woman by the name of MRS LEE called and said I owed money to a bank (which I do) and said if I didn’t pay today that they would garnish my paycheck. After we hung up, she called right back and asked for the payroll department (I believe in hopes to scare me) so I hung up the phone.. I have been scammed three times before and I am tired of the BS.. how do I know if this is for real?

Oh, I forgot - She also said my wages would be garnished at 25%, and that my driver's license would be suspended. Why would my driver's license play any part in this? This sounds like a threat to me.

A Mrs. Lee called me from a company called international Recovery 2. She was trying to collect a settlement amount on an old pay day loan, but wouldn't give me a specific company. She said many companies fall under one big umbrella company. I have had loans in the past, but have also been a victim of scammer calls, and have sent money when it wasn't legitimate. She said I owed $1,800, and would do a settlement for $275. The original loan she said was $300.00. She was supposed to have sent me documentation regarding this, but I am still waiting for it. I am smelling a scam. What do you think?
