Screen my calls and don't pick up unless I recognize the number-or area code!

I got a call from this number. Numbers I don't recognize I let my fax machine answer. I've been doing that for a month now. The number of spammer calls have really dropped off a LOT. Go pick up a used fax machine cheap. I bought mine for $20. I have it set to pick up on the third ring. If I don't recognize the number, it goes to the fax. They can talk to Mr. Fax Tone. I have my cell phone set up the same way....3 rings and you go to Mr. Fax. It must be working. I've gone from 5 to 6 calls per day, down to 5 to 6 calls per month.
