received "recorded" message at approx. 4:30 pm on 9/5/14 that i didn't answer. it went on my answering ma****e. female voice said so****ing about serious errors on my computer and "press 1" to speak with a microsoft service technician. curious, so i tried to call number back and got fast, busy signal 3-4 times. tried a***n a bit later and got recorded message that number was no longer in service. also had some scam call (don't remember telephone number but it was a toll free 877) from some male with heavy indian and recording of noisy call center in background --- he claimed to be microsft service technician. this occurred approx. 4 days ago ---he said there were serious viruses on my computers that were****ociated with my internet --- i could s**** up either of my windows computers. got his telephone number and his extension to call back later. internet provider checked my system --- absolutely no problems. called back later and number no longer working. wish there was a place to report this and get these people locked up!

Received call from (323) 265-9875 at 4:55pm. Essentially same routine as reported in prior posts. "Indian" became very f****ered when I questioned him and asked for a call back number. He repeatedly stated that he would give me the number in a moment but attempted to continue his script. After I ***g up, I called the number that was on my caller ID. Message stated that number was no longer in service or had been disconnected

Been getting these calls once a month or so. I always press 1 talk **** and see how Mich they will lie to me. After a few minutes they just **** up. Uh maybe I'll do the air horn thing next time
(323) 265-9875
I kept getting calls from this *****. So I went to Auto Zone and bought an air horn can and waited. The next time Fabian called back I waited until I heard a real human voice and let the whole can go off into his ear. That was five days ago and they haven't called back. Probably can't hear.

The call has a synthetic voice generated from a computer using the "Heather" voice as generated by Acapela voices through several text-to-s***ch engines but in this case appears to be a permanently recorded voice due to distortion heard in the announcement. When called the synthetic female voice states "Your computer has been generating serious errors and problems due to someone trying to use your computer. You're being transferred to someone who will help you fix the problem". Soon you're forwarded to someone who appears to be from India or near there. The person states they are from Microsoft and that they are detecting someone using your computer. They then say they will stop the problems if you give them your credit card number, and for $99.95 your computer will be fixed. DON"T DO IT IT"S A SCAM!!! They'll ask for your e-mail address, and other account information through Microsoft to access your account. Often they steel any licenses you have and use them. THEY ARE NOT****OCIATED WITH MICROSOFT!!!! And it's all a lie from them. If you get a call from them **** up - and if you've already been a victim report it.
