received "recorded" message at approx. 4:30 pm on 9/5/14 that i didn't answer. it went on my answering machine. female voice said something about serious errors on my computer and "press 1" to speak with a microsoft service technician. curious, so i tried to call number back and got fast, busy signal 3-4 times. tried again a bit later and got recorded message that number was no longer in service. also had some scam call (don't remember telephone number but it was a toll free 877) from some male with heavy indian and recording of noisy call center in background --- he claimed to be microsft service technician. this occurred approx. 4 days ago ---he said there were serious viruses on my computers that were associated with my internet --- i could start up either of my windows computers. got his telephone number and his extension to call back later. internet provider checked my system --- absolutely no problems. called back later and number no longer working. wish there was a place to report this and get these people locked up!

(323) 265-9875

(323) 265-9875
Yup another moron pretending to be "Microsoft support" and my computer is sending out errors. Total scam! I have no computers at home on the internet!
(323) 265-9875
8/22/14 called to tell me my computer was sending out serious error and to press 1. I didn't press 1 only held on then was disconnected.
(323) 265-9875

(323) 265-9875
8/22/14 called to tell me my computer was sending out errors and signals and to press a button to talk to support.
(323) 265-9875
Called me on 8/20/14. Said they are Microsoft and that my computer has been sending signals out stating that someone has been hacking it. I said I don't even have internet and...boom...they hung up.
(323) 265-9875

Received call from (323) 265-9875 at 4:55pm. Essentially same routine as reported in prior posts. "Indian" became very flustered when I questioned him and asked for a call back number. He repeatedly stated that he would give me the number in a moment but attempted to continue his script. After I hung up, I called the number that was on my caller ID. Message stated that number was no longer in service or had been disconnected

Been getting these calls once a month or so. I always press 1 talk crap and see how Mich they will lie to me. After a few minutes they just hang up. Uh maybe I'll do the air horn thing next time
(323) 265-9875
I kept getting calls from this moron. So I went to Auto Zone and bought an air horn can and waited. The next time Fabian called back I waited until I heard a real human voice and let the whole can go off into his ear. That was five days ago and they haven't called back. Probably can't hear.

The call has a synthetic voice generated from a computer using the "Heather" voice as generated by Acapela voices through several text-to-speech engines but in this case appears to be a permanently recorded voice due to distortion heard in the announcement. When called the synthetic female voice states "Your computer has been generating serious errors and problems due to someone trying to use your computer. You're being transferred to someone who will help you fix the problem". Soon you're forwarded to someone who appears to be from India or near there. The person states they are from Microsoft and that they are detecting someone using your computer. They then say they will stop the problems if you give them your credit card number, and for $99.95 your computer will be fixed. DON"T DO IT IT"S A SCAM!!! They'll ask for your e-mail address, and other account information through Microsoft to access your account. Often they steel any licenses you have and use them. THEY ARE NOT ASSOCIATED WITH MICROSOFT!!!! And it's all a lie from them. If you get a call from them hang up - and if you've already been a victim report it.
(323) 265-9875
Same thing. Very broken synthetic voice about serious line errors from my computer. Yeah, right
(323) 265-9875
I received the same message as the others only this time it was automated. Do not press 1!
(323) 265-9875
This is a scam for sure from a group HQ in India. They will ask to have you log in so they can "Take control of your computer and fix the problem for you." Microsoft does not have any knowledge of this nor would they use this technique to call each Microsoft user individually. As a Microsoft subscriber your fixes and updates come to you on line. DO NOT CALL BACK.
(323) 265-9875
Yes. Received a recorded call from 'Microsoft' saying their was a serious line error with my computer please press '1' to speak to a technician to repair this error immediately! OHHHH sure I'm going to press '1' ....NOT ... Can you say scam or spam.
(323) 265-9875
said they were from microsoft, wanted me to sit at my computer and work through it with him. I hung up on him...had a lot of "talk/chatter" in background. Just read article in local paper that this very thing was spam.
(323) 265-9875
I received the same call as veronica. When I asked the caller to identify which computer, or provide any sort of identifying information, he refused and restated that I simply need to log into any home computer. The name on the caller ID is Fabian Aguilar.
(323) 265-9875
Received a call from Microsoft Tech George Wilson with our computer errors. When asked for his name and ID, he refused to give a direct answer. When asked to explain more of his services he repeated the same story and when asked for a number to call back because I didn't feel comfortable with him cold calling became rude.
(323) 265-9875
I didn't answer but I wish I'd known it was the fake MS tech from India. I had a lot of fun screwing with them when they called a few months ago. I like what the previous poster said that his computer was making a lot of 0s and 1s. Of course it is - that's how they work. Since I'm just the second one to comment on 8-12, this must be a new number for them. Hey, Indian Idiot - we know what you're doing and we'll make sure that everyone else knows too.
(323) 265-9875
Clowns called and said they were from Microsoft and my computer was making a lot of 0's and 1's.
