Fairly sure this is a scam. Received a check for. Close to $4,000, told to deposit it and withdraw cash to pay a technician. That was when I applied the brakes and plan to return the check. Some of the telltale signs are every entry on the check is in a different font, the grammar used in the accompanying letter is poor, and the word usage is stilted and incorrect, etc., etc. I would rather be safe than sorry, if it really is valid they can contact me again and make arrangements for me to find out more about them before I draw $4,000 from my account.
