Called to claim my sister was involved a civil lawsuit in Houston. Seemed very skittish when pushed for answers and hung up abruptly.
no they are not telemarketers, they use phone numbers and personal information that they can get by somebody just answering the phone to insert malware or viruses. They also use different names phone numbers addresses email addresses social media accounts of many innocent people to commit many different kinds of primes including real estate fraud which a lot of these names are used as well.

However records show a Christopher Benton, 47yrs old, Dr. at Baylor college of medicine, lives in Hawaii as her spouse. This may be a false person, Chris Benton from Texas, 52 shows no marriages or divorces... although having at least 2... Angela A Benton divorced 2019.

I called this number because it called my friend’s phone number who has been apart of a data breach, so I called on my phone number. The woman answered right away (during the first ring) and said, “thank you so much for calling us back. We are speaking on a recorded line. Is this Susan ______?”
I just hung up before asking for the business name or what they wanted.

My CEO was directly in front of me talking to me about a project & they claimed to be my CEO texting me saying he was in a meeting & needed a favor to buy gift cards for the staff as a gift. I led them on to try & get as much info as I could so I could report.... Scamming is nasty work.

I doubt this makes a dent in the big picture but I have researched for a year this group of people that I can name stealing phone number email address home address claiming****ets of 1000 of people social media accounts addresses for themselves and or all their aliases
