The lady said she was an IRS settlement officer. When I told her that I had received not notice of any filing a***nst me by the IRS, she quickly said let me get my supervisor. And then when I said goodbye, she pleaded with me to please stay on the line. Obviously the IRS sends you letters. They do not call. And only a scammer would be trying to pass the baton to a "supervisor" in an instant.
