I worked on this a couple more hours. After hearing Mailbox os Full, it tells you yo dial 0 to leave mailbox Then Extension of your party and # ( i tried 1701# but it got me back to full mailbpx recorded msg) Or just # to get an operator This gets you to the san jose kaiser operator every time. The first i talked to is described below. The second said without a last name or an extension theres nothing he can do. So what dhould o do? Charlene asked me to call her back. Youll just have to wait for her to call you back. The third san jose kaiser operator, i decided yo give 1701 as an extension, dhe dropped me into the main kaiser menu 1) make an apptmnt or talk to medical advisor ...5) become a new kaiser member. I give up. But at least we know this number is a san jose kaiser ghost number.

(Doing this just gets you back to "mailbox is full"), or just press # to get an operator. Doing this gives ypu an operator at San Jose Kaiser. None of yjem know anythong about this ( ghost kaiser) number. Tje first one eas implying misdialed snd reached the San jose kaiser until i explained ( see prev msg below ) She dropped me off to a bunch of kaiser options to choose that has no relation to rea****g Charlene of kaiser who called my iphone at this number, and said to call her back. The second san jose kaiser operator, seemed to believe me, but said he vant help me if i font know her last name or her extension. I said ehat am i supposed to do? She said her name was charlene, from kaiser, and asked me to call her back. He said ypull just have to wait gor her to csll you bsck. ( but dhes waiting for me to call her back) Sorry. The third san jose kaiser operator didnt know what to do without s last name or extension, so i gave her 1701, no luck. I ended up in general press a number*****, with choices of 1) aptmnts or speak with medical advisor, 3) to choose s mee provider, 3) .... 4) become a member, 5) etc -- i kust got dumped to the top of kaisers choice menu. Seems like they could do a lookup by first name charlene, and filter out sll but the Charlene(s) in claims. But no, i just get dumped. Love my kaiser drs but sure hate clsims and bureauc****. Time to give up. But well rstablished, as andrpid user said below, that this is indeed a ghost number from kaiser san jose, that appears on your phone as the incoming phone number, but in teality is another number so that you csnt call their internsl workers back. I agree with Android user below on 3/25/2014. I got a voice mail from "charlene" of kaiser claims from this number. I tried to call back about s claim. She left no number to call back (unlike android user below who said they left the normal 510 number for kaiser in Oa****d) so i tried calling this number and it said mailbox is full. Press # for operator or if you lnow your partys name, 0, blah blah blah. So i pressed # got s live oerator who denied this was a kaiser number. She said this is kaiser in san jose sir, ondicating you are calling tje wrong number now, and luckily i was able to use what Android User had said about s ghost line for kaiser snd that i was trying to reach charlene in kaiser claims, and that yhat was the number on recents in my iphone thst i just used and got transferred to her by after receiving msilbox is full message. Not by calling this operatpr directly and having her deny any knowledge of that number. I got her voa tje same number. So, She transferred me to kaiser ??? Where i got a tecorded message snd no further progress. Perhaps they prefer to make it difficult. I got nowhere otjer than learning about ghost lines at kaiser so you cant directly call back the p erson who cslled you. Remember their commercial? " i want you to be smart." " I want you to be kind". I like my kaiser health care physicians but not their claims bureauc****.

Possibly a ghost line for Kaiser insurance. Received a call from this number but message indicated to call back a 510 area code #
