Left no voice mail; calling back - the number does not go thru and just disconnects. So it is an 'obvious' scam of some sort which you will hear about if when you answer the phone.

LOL. If you listen to the message when you call it says you should dial 5 to dial an extension. So you would do "5 5240"

I have received calls from this number more than once. Someone calls and before I can reply they **** up. I have tried calling back but it's of no use. It almost seems like their recruiters have to show some calls on their calling list - for a bonus or perhaps to let their bosses know that they are indeed busy working. Other than that it dosent make sense to call and **** up before you speak, not call back and/or not reply when people decide to call back.

I just got a call from this number (weirdly, it showed up as 911-425-216-1639 on my phone). It was a recruiter from Tek, as someone else noted here: http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-425-216-1639

This is a call center from India making cold calls about recruiting IT consultants for Tek Systems. The caller ID shows as TFS ELEC MAN - Teksystems should consider other tactics instead of making cold calls.
