Phone rang twice, hung up before I answered. I get 1-2 of these calls every month and I tell them I donate dorectly to the local police/fire departments and to stop calling. Does no good. INext time I'll tell them I am reporting them to the Attorney General or FTC

Phone scam. They are not the police and pocket the large majority of the donation.

phone call from WA FOP for the second night in a row. A male voice asks for me by first name and then when I say that I am there he hangs up.

The caller claimed to be wtih the Washinton State Fraternal Order of Police Memorial Foundation and was seeking a donation. And had the gall to ask for my credit card information over the phone. Seriously - if these are actual police officers . . THEY of all people should know better than to ask for credit card info over the phone.
