Called asking to speak to my husband 3/3/2010 told him that any business decisions that were made would be done by me. (I am really sick of telemarketers calling first of all) He stated "So I guess you wear the pants in the house?" I said what ever you want to call it! Then he said Well I guess you could bend him over a table and F*** the S*** out of him then. I gave him a few choice words of my own... I am a very persistant person and I WILL NOT STOP until these guys are caught and possibly fined and do some jail time for their actions. I am going to contact the police in Arizona, the federal Trade Commision, My attorney, The governor, The president you name it. They are going to be sorry they even thought up this type of scam and I am quite suprised with all of the post through out the internet that they are still operating.

These people western supply are nasty and you have hunt them down to get them to stop.

These people have been calling me for over a year now looking for someone who does not nor has ever lived here and I tell them this and they start curseing me and threatening me so now I just tell them Ok he is not her but I will give you his cell number and i give them  the number to the local sherriffs office. i am going to file a complaint in the morning

This number calls multiple times a day wanting to talk to the owner, they use differant names of companies. I asked them not to call again and they told me they would call every 5 minutes every day till they can talk to him.

BEWARE cal pacific has changed their name again to Thomas equipment/supply.  'Jim Morrison' called.  I told him Jim Morrison was dead and that we've never done business with Thomas supply.  He said he had an order from 2007, I said not under that name, you have another?  just what I expected, cal-pacific.  I told him we wouldn't buy his crap again ever and hung up while he was still talking.BTW Jim Rosakis, the owner is wanted by the Tempe  Police for pointing a gun at someone on the street.  He owns a gun shop too.  This beast should be put away.

I called the Tempe police department.  They referred me to the Arizona Attorney General.  They referred me to the FTC (Federal Trade Commission).  That is who you need to call.  The call takes 5 minutes max.  The only way they will go after these losers is if hundreds of people take the time to call and complain.  The phone number is 1-866-653-4261.So spend 5 minutes and complain.

I operate a small electrical cantracting business. These guys have been calling me at least twice a week for quite a while. I kon't normally answer calls from area codes I don't recognize, so I don't answer when they call. They never leave any messages. On two occasions I have called them back only to hear a message that the number is no longer in service. A legitimate business would not be so secretive. I won't buy any thing from such a company.50 saw blades would last me 10 years and I don't need theirs. I know the people at my local hardware store and they are trustworthy and don't hide when you try to find them.

The commentors on this post who say they've had no problems with these callers are the callers themselves. They are saying the same things in this post that the callers say before they get obnoxious, rude, and perverted.Does anybody really think that they can't get on this site and try to deny the things that they're really up to? They have been calling for many, many months: hanging up, acting like they've known you a long time, rude comments, sexual comments to my receptionist and me, threatening comments. THEY ARE UP TO NO GOOD AND WILL BE CAUGHT. There is a police report filed on them. There is action being pursued by the Arizona Attorney General.

"Playa" dennis sounds like the guy that called me from Atlas Supply today; arrogant, demmanding and hung up on me after I started asking him what he was selling.  To those who have posted that they've had positive experiences with Atlas, why don't you include their number in your post so we can contact them and buy from them too?

I think the only guys on here giving good comments are the callers themselves. These J***-offs have been hounding me for two flippin' years!Shams, they are. I just hang up. They're definitely NOT legit. Anyone got a acre of Florida swampland for sale????!

for those who buy from them, are you sure it's the same people as are in the complaints?  there are other atlas building supply companies who are legit.  with the way we've been treated, i can't imagine "courteous" and these people being in the same sentence.

I agree with the people who said they are rude and therefore not respectable or worth doing busines with.  they called today asking for my husband, would not leave a message, and insulted me when i asked if i could help them (and when i would not give them his cell number).to the ones who do business with them, i would ask that if they have something so good, why do they have a number you can't call back, and why do they need to be so insulting and rude?

I have been buyin tools from these guys for years and I have never had any problems.If you get a call from them u should listen to what they have say.They save me a ton of time and money by not having to drive down to the store and pay full retail.Instead of having to pay up front they offer me a 30 day open billing and pay freight.

Many of the comments echo my experience. I guess I need to send a certified letter. I think these guys are connected with a Monroe Michigan tool salesman who usually calls from a withheld number but once used the caller id # of 734 693-5901 "John Cook". They're deadbeat salesmen who have never gotten off thier smart a**es and worked with that junk thier trying to sell. Beggers!

I have been receiving calls from this company and # for the last few nights on my caller ID, never leaving a message. They finally caught me at the office this morning and asked for the owner by name. I said he was out of town & the guy said "What? Is he in the Bahamas or something?" Everyone who knows our company, knows we work out of town. So I said, no, he's working. He then asked when he'd be back & I said 2 weeks. Then I asked him if I could take a message. The jerk then said, "No, I was calling for a bid on a job, but will call another company now." I hung up. I knew it was a fake. Call me a deadbeat whiner all you want, but these guys are scammers.

i buy tools from these guys every month, they are very kind and curtious and bill me at my leisure.  all these complaints are a bunch of deadbeat whiners who are struggling in a tough economy

These guys call all the time trying to sell stuff...they are the reason we buy nothing over the phone anymore.  They cuss me out, make sexual comments, crude, rude animals.  They need to be stopped.  I have made a police report at one time when I was threatened with having my nipples cut off...these guys have no business being in business. They stopped calling for awhile, but are back at it now.

They have called me every month or so for a year trying to sell me large quantities of construction supplies. When I explain I do small odd jobs and don't need a case of 50 saw blades they hang up on me mid-sentence. Today was the last straw. The usual conversation took place, but when they would usually hang up, the "supervisor" came on the line and insulted my business for being too small and then hung up on me. Never buy anything from these guys!

After I said I might be interested in some saw blades another guy got on the phone and asked me when I was going to get out to Tempe. I said I wouldn't be coming to Tempe. He said, "That's a shame, I was wanting to buy you a beer and catch some rays together." I hung up and did some investigating and found someone to call about this. I'm sorry I don't have that number, but it can be found on the website I mentioned.In my complaint, I told them that this guy was a pervert looking for other perverts online. The man I talked to seemed very concerned and surprised by this. After hanging up, I got another call from the jerk who cussed me and hung up. They're still calling and hanging up.
