When I looked this number up it stated that it was serviced by "Bandwidth.com". I called and filed a complaint with them...which they took and acknowleged the 480 number. They are turning the complaint over to their security department as an abuse case. So, everybody call; 800-808-5150...the more complaints the better to spur them on to shut this number down!!!

Someone on another site also recommended registering on the donotcall.gov site and also reporting the number to your State Attorney General. You can file a complaint with the FCC online. Google it. Hoping this ceases soon.

I didn't answer the call, since I rarely answer a call unless the number or area code is familiar OR my caller ID match picks up on it. I've grown weary of paying for telemarketers to talk to me. He was very polite when I told him he was the first in 3 calls to actually speak. He apologized and said he would remove my name from the list. I called to register a complaint about a disturbing phone call I received and the woman said that they record all outgoing calls and that they would be able to determine which one of their telemarketers is harassing me.

I've been getting calls from this number for the past several weeks. I answered the phone last night before checking caller ID and it was a guy who tried to pass himself off as someone I knew in the past. He was trying to pretend that he wanted to patch things up and start over. Because of some vulgar language he used in the beginning of the conversation, I thought he was my daughter's ex, who was quite testy and vulgar the last time I had any contact with him. When I said his name, this guy pretended that it was his name. He obviously thought that I thought he was an ex of mine and I soon figured out that he had no idea who I thought he was. He kept accusing me of playing games and then he said he was done. He told me he knew people and that I would be hearing from him and then he hung up. I called the number back and got voice mail for someone named Jack. I informed him that I would be turning his number over to the New York State Police. Don't know if that will stop the calls but I hope it does. This guy was a real nut case. As I type this, I'm wondering if maybe he monitors this site to see what we're saying about him. The guy definitely has too much time on his hands.

If you want to really **** THEM OFF..All you need to do is tell them that you have somebody at the door and you will only be a few seconds..Then just lay the phone down..Then in about 20-30 minutes later just **** it up..These telemarketers try to get in as many phone calls in an hour as possible..This was told to me by a FORMER Telemarketer..Hope this helps.

I received a call from this number today, and they left a voice message. The voice sounded rather elderly. She said, "Hello, is Cindy there? Hello Cindy." Then hung up. It sounded as if it was a personal call, a friend calling to chat. However, I live in British Columbia, Canada, and I don' t have any friends in Arizona. There was a quite a bit of background noise, which led me to believe the call originated from a call centre.

i thought it was an online school too but it's definitely a scammer. i kept getting calls from this number multiple times a day so i finally answered to tell them to put me on their do not call list. when i answered this guy asked for me by name, he had gotten my info from a job search website and he asked me if i was still interested in making money from home. in my experience most of these "companies" want you to put money down before you can make any money which is a big red flashing scam alert! so i asked him right away how much money i would have to spend before i could s**** making money. i wasn't seriously considering giving this guy anything i just wanted to hear him say it so i would know for sure that it wasn't a serious employment opportunity and i could tell him to put me on the do not call list but i wasn't rude about it, not even a little snotty. as soon as i asked this though this ****** c****ed his tune. "well it wouldn't matter if you had to spend a dollar or a million dollars until you've heard all the details," he says.
