I received a call today also. Person said they were from US Bank and was very rude. She said I was late by $250.00 on one of my accounts. I asked her to call me back later as I was driving. She said she could handle my late payment over the phone. I a***n told her that I was driving and to call back later. She then proceded to tell me I had funds in another account that she could transfer. I told he no, I would look into it when I got back to my office, she said I heard you say Yes, so I'll transfer the money, then she ***g up. I stopped by a US BANK office and they checked my accounts and I was up to date and they don't see any record of any one calling me. It's one of those things where the right hand does not know what the right hand is doing.

This number called my business's on-call phone asking for an employee who hasn't worked with us in over a year. I reported he was no longer employed with us, and she said she would take our number off the list. The next day I recieved another call from the same number. It sounded like the same lady, and I told her a***n he no longer worked for us. I have no idea why they would have our on-call phone listed as a number for this employee, but the situation is very bizarre...

We get calls that just have a recording that says call that number. When I called back someone answers and asks for a name, but then they can't hear. I tried calling back twice so so****ing is wrong at their end. We don't have an account with them but think they are calling about a neighbor that foreclosed on their house and moved away. I didn't think collection agencies bothered people like that anymore.
(503) 401-7455
There is no delinquency on my acct. There is no reason why US Bank would call me for a delinquency. So it has to also be used for cold calling/marketing purposes.
(503) 401-7455
I do not have a mortgage with anyone. this cannot be the reason why they call... I have plenty of money in my US Bank acct and they are calling me. There is no reason why, other than for marketing reasons, why they would call me...oh well..
(503) 401-7455
I got a voicemail telling me that it was important for me to call the US Bank hotline (1-800-USBANKS). I used my recent calls function on my cell phone to call the actual number back and it sounded like the regular US Bank hotline prompts. When an operator answered the call I decided that I didn't want to give my account number out because I didn't know who I had contacted. I told the operator that I didn't have my account number and that I would call back. She told me that she could look up my account information by my social security number and I politely refused. She gave me the standard "Thank you for calling US Bank" spiel and I ***g up. When I called US Bank directly the agent found no notes on the account. I had recently used my debit card for an unusually large transaction and the agent guessed that was the reason for the call. When I described the cir***stances the agent referred me to the fradulent claims department. I called them and the agent there said that this was a legitimate call from their Portland OR sales office. That's all I know.

You work for US bank, don't you Micheal?
(503) 401-7455
If your military and you have usesd the miles programe to lease a car they call for that.
(503) 401-7455
I got a call and typed in the number. After reading all the responses I decided to answer since I am not delinquent nor do I have a US Bank account. I answered the second call and they asked for someone I do not know. I reported I did not know that person. I've had the same phone number for over 5 years and when I first got it I got calls for a man by that name. What I learned was I need to update my info with my bank and cards more often so someone else doesn't go through this. Thanks for all the remarks; they really helped. Especially Michael's advice to just talk to them.
(503) 401-7455
I don't HAVE an account with them! They have called repeatedly, and also seem not to believe that there is no one here by that name.I also tried calling back the number, which connected me to US Bank. The agent told me she didn't have that phone number on their chart of accounts, but she gave me the number for Collections: 1-800-872-2625. If you don't punch in an account number, they disconnect you.And someone would do business with US Banks... because why??? I never will. S***.
(503) 401-7455
They keep calling me asking to speak with my mom, who I used to share this cell phone with. So far they've left three messages, and my mom had no idea who they are or why they'd be calling her (neither of us have a bank account/credit card/mortgage with them). A few of the messages were with a very impatient/angry sounding man who said that it was "very unfortunate that you are not contacting us considering the importance of this matter." :|
(503) 401-7455
We receive calls from this number at least twice a week. We do not have any accounts with US Bank. No messages are ever left. Why are we being called?
(503) 401-7455
Yes, this number is from US Bank. Aside from the aforementioned reasons, that office also calls if there IS a delinquency on your account: overdrawn, etc. I know this cuz my wife tanked our account a few times, and they called from there to find out what was being done to resolve the issue. Also, it is best to accept the call and talk to them, so that they won't think you're dodging them.
(503) 401-7455
I receive numerous calls from this number daily and I have never had an account or credit card with US Bank. They think my name is James and refuse to remove my phone number from their data base. By the way, I'm female and have a VERY female voice. They accuse me of trying to hide James from them.

(503) 401-7455
Caller identified herself as representing USBank's wire transfer department and let us know of an incoming wire transfer - entirely legitimate call.
(503) 401-7455
They've called twice, once on 04/10/08 at 02:39PM and a***n today 04/16/08 at 10:07AM. Both times left a message identifying themselves as being from US Bank and that I should call (800) 872-2625. So today I called this 800# (it really is US Bank) and they checked all of my accounts and there is no problem with any of them. They cannot explain why anyone from US Bank would be contacting me. I asked them if I gave them the telephone number that appeared on my caller id, would they be able to tell me if it was a valid US Bank phone#? And when I did, the representative said that gave him more info. He put me on hold for a long time and came back and said it was a valid US Bank# but it's for an automated system. He said he wasn't able find out the department it was for. I explained that it was actual people who left messages and not an automated "person" and he just said all he could find out is that it's a phone number for one of their automated systems.

I received a call from 503-401-7*** earlier today. They actually left a message and said it was 'US Bank'.
