This number called and stated that they were a US Border Customs Patrol Officer from El Paso, TX and that they have intercepted a package addressed to me that contained illegal substances that have been confi****ed. Before they had a chance to demand or threaten me with anything, I pointed out that their area code was out of WA and that this did not make sense, as I have grown up in a law enforcement household. That jurisdiction would be transferred to local LE and they would make contact in person or surveille me, not call me on the phone and give me a heads up that I was doing so****ing illegal. Not to mention that I would never be involved with anything remotely close to what they were suggesting. As soon as I mentioned this, the male on the phone ***g up on me.
