I received about a call (or more) a day for about two weeks. A message was never left and I had picked up before, but had never received an answer. When I picked up yes****ay and kept saying "hello" until someone answered me back, they knew my full name, address, and email address and she said she was with the Human Rights Campaign (since I am a volunteer for activities here in NC). She wanted me to provide my credit card number in order to become a member for $75 (on the hrc.org website, the membership fees are only $50 and you get a very nice gift, as opposed to the ***per sticker she was offering me). When I told her I felt more comfortable paying any dues online, she kept stating that she wouldn't need my three-digit code on the back and wouldn't take no for an answer.... initially. I finally told her, "I understand you would like me to pay over the phone, but a***n, I am more comfortable paying any dues online. I also receive calls from this number several times and I would prefer to only be contacted by email." We'll see what happens, but everyone beware: This number is BAD. Just trying to get your credit card info when they aren't even affiliated with any organization..... I would like to know how she got all of my information as well. Please report (and tell me how I may take this matter further)!

I've been receiving calls from this TELEFUND # also. You go directly to a voice mail which states that TELEFUND is a fund raiser for political & non-profit organizations. (Remember everyone non-profit are exempt from DNC) The message states that if you are calling to request to be removed from their calling list to leave your telephone # & you will be removed promptly. So, I definately left my phone # & a message stating that I wish to be removed asap! Meanwhile, I blocked the telephone # on my telephone. Everyone...check your telephone & see if you have this option directly on your telephone. Most people have it & just never realize it & never use it. Good Luck!!
