Hi Ann,They will lie to you and give you a fake name, the same person left me voice messages on my cell and gave me two different names. They are uneducated scumbags who are trying to steal your money. They are SCAMMERS! They'll be getting theirs soon cuz I have ALL the info I need on them. But, until then, protect and arm yourself against them. First, make sure you know the laws regarding debt collection (knowledge of the law scares the crap out of them):http://lemberglaw.com/debt-collection-law-att ... CFSRe7Aod3gMgGgThe list of "rules" is on the homepage of the above. When they leave you a message, they will threaten you with "theft by deception" and "internet fraud" . If you tell them you know you can't be charged with these things, they will tell you that this is a new law since January 2011. They are LYING. I spoke with three different lawyers from all around the country and the FDCPA is still intact and it is still only a CIVIL matter when you don't pay a debt. They'll try very hard to scare you into sending them money today because they will say that the attorney in office is going to process you. Well, guess what? They have no attorney there. If you ask to speak with him, they'll probably put you on hold and come back, pretending to be someone else. This is one of their tactics. I've done plenty of research on them and trust me here, they are not legit. Just google whatever name they are using today for a company name. I'll bet it'll come up as a scam. Anyway, if you need any more help with this, just post it. I'd be glad to tell you all I can.

I've been investigating this "company" for a week now. They are a SCAM. They are not listed anywhere as a valid collections agency. Other number they call from is 210-957-8770 so be on the lookout for that one also. They sent me an "invoice" (obvious Word document with very little info) that had the heading W.C.C.I. and a clip-art of the Scales of Justice (how ironic!). They keep threatening me with "internet fraud" and "theft by deception". Well, the next time they call me (and I'm quite sure there will be a next time) I'm threatening them with attempted extortion. BTW, Texas and A Web User; which name did he use with you two? A Web User, he tried to tell me he was "Mark Grace" one time and "Ripley Scott" the next time. SAME EXACT VOICE. So, apparently, that's one of their "tactics". He also had the audacity to call me by my last name! I said who the heck calls someone by their last name? and he said "that's the way we do things here". UGH! I can't wait to get to the bottom of this.

Who is the owner?
(513) 299-0025
I received a message with the man calling saying he was with some fraud department within the Texas state government. When I called the phone number he left he stated it was the law offices of Bush, Berry and Associates. He became abusive when I asked why he had contacted me and why in the message he tried to make it sound like he was with a government agency. He kept calling me a loser and then hung up. If I get another call from the number I will file a complaint with the Texas Attorney General’s office and the Better Business Bureau.

I got a phone call from this place, asking about a sibling that did not live with me. When I asked questions of why they were calling, he got an attitude with me and then proceeded to hang up on me. When I called back to ask to speak to his supervisor, he put me on hold and then came back on the phone trying to be someone else. I told this individual that he was the same persone that called my home, and that I would like to speak to his supervisor. He then hung up on me again.
