This phone number, 516-584-7981, has been associated with a scam where the caller claims to be from Publisher's Clearing House. The caller informs potential victims that they have won $4.7 million and a 2024 pearl white Mercedes Benz car. The scam requires the victim to purchase a $499 Vanilla Card and provide the card numbers for verification. The caller extends the call duration to surpass bank closing times, suggesting a callback the next day. Publisher's Clearing House does not ask for money or offer such extravagant prizes. This identifies the call as a clear scam.

obviously a PCH scam. PCH doesn't call or require money to claim prize. Does not award 2 prizes at same time nor award a high end car. The usual car giveaway is a Ford model.

Caller claimed to be from Publisher's Clearing House stating I won $4.7 million. and a 2024 pearl white Mercedes Benz car. Required $499 on Vanilla Card. Needed card numbers to verify,, but verification not completed. Call lasted 2hours 30 minutes including 2-3 callbacks. Made sure call lasted past banks closing. Said he would continue next day when banks opened. He basically had my public information only.
